I thought grinding was because of two reasons:

1) To slow down the top guilds and guilds with mass members in their rank, from consuming the whole entire content in 3-6 months. Imagine that, 3-4 years of hardcore development and people finishes it in a few months! Kind of insulting...

2) To give those solo players and people who's too shy to join a guild/group (in case they have to "chat" to other "real" people), a chance to catch up... somewhat. Everyone knows it's much more easier to level up when you're low than when you're high level. Hence a bigger population in the middle than in the end.

And wasn't Aion made for social people? You don't "have" to be in a guild or even a "community" but you should at least be willing to group up quite eagerly, you know, otherwise play go play your Final Fantasy games. And on that note, I heard FF14 will be made specifically for the Hikimori....

My tip: Do those repeatable quests that requires you to "only" kill, and not collect. If you were In a full group of six, you would have to kill about 3-4 mobs each (if the quests required about 20 kills), and then turn in the quest. And how long does it take to kill 3-4 mobs? You can do it in like 5 mins, probably less and even if you don't get as much xp from those quests per turn in, the rate of turn in will still be faster than if you try to solo high level mobs and you'll also get LOADS of money! Easily get over 100k.

Anyway, there's a saying:

"The ties of friendship and bonds of brotherhood are formed Strongest in the midst of battle."

Thats why I LOVE PARTIES not just to grind, but for protection and making friends.

19 hours from 44 to 45 huh... I could solo that in one day or one weekend day, but I'll probably be to busy ganking the opposing race and stopping them from leveling up

Man, if only they had set this game in space... We could have had, like, Space Marines and Legion of Chaos! Man I would LOVE to have played them, and Tyranids and all those other COOL races!!! We could even maybe have awesome jetpacks! And anti-gravity battles! Yeah awesome! pew pew.

Is there a WoW game set in space? No? Man, they could have totally capitalised and monopolise that theme. No competition!!! People wanna play fantasy, they play WoW. People wanna play hardcore Space Marines, then they have to play WAR cause there's no other game like it out there....

Man, that idea alone was worth all their developers high paid salaries.

All they had to do was copy an idea and they failed at that. I say fire the lot of them and hire me.

Just a small update.

Jade Wolf Guild is now open to "active" PvP players from other European countries as well. Join only if you want to get all crazy over the enemies ass. (No wait that didn't sound right...)

Active UK PvP guild, but I suppose i get back to PvE as well once they release the expansion pack... so PvE is not excluded in this guild. You're free to do PvE so long as you haven't been called to service i.e. don't say sorry i'm too busy farming or doing a mission when you've been summoned to a guild battle.

Most guild battles will be conducted between the hours of 6pm-10pm GMT.

A brand new serious, dedicated UK guild is now open for recruitment.

The guild will consist of only a few members so places are limited. This guild is mainly for dedicated PvP players so only think about joining if you we can count on you to be reliable. Being is this guild itself is a responsibility that each member holds.
If you are mature enough and enjoy responsbility then give me a call.

The guild is generally open to UK people only, but i may consider people from other countries as well if u can prove yourself of sufficient maturity

The guild will be looking generally for experienced pvp players but inexperienced pvp players are also welcome to apply. This is your chance to get into a good guild and learn something!
