So after playing TL2 until the end of the beta test and playing D3 too 60 and the first of act1 INF, i honestly feel like D3 left alot to be desired and that TL2 fufilled me more then D3 will ever and TL2 IS STILL IN BETA!

D3's lackluster item system really kills it for me, i get nothing but crappy blue drops from the bosses and rares that have int on in from rare/champ packs, its just seems that the items are boring and its all based on DPS and your main stat  including Vit, i know i know..its a RNG treasure hunt game, but atleast when i was farming a specific boss in D2 i know what i was looking for and i had a reason and a drive too kill that boss. I dont like to see boss runs happen and i do like how the rare stuff has better things but i just dont get excited when i see items drop because its just all lackluster.

I just really think from my experiance so far that TL2 is going to do more for me then D3 ever will, i mean i cant even believe D3 released without a lobby system, and i feel the AH really kills the game .D3 becomes more of a "farm gold"  game then kills mobs and hope for good drops game.

So for right now..im looking towards TL2 to be my hack n slash dungeon crawl savior, i havent had that much fun in awhile when i played the beta that weekend, it just oozes oldschool D2... everything from the skill trees too allocating your own skillpoints, which is another thing D3 failed to do.. LETS HOLD THEIR HANDS BECAUSE WE DONT WANT PEOPLE MESSING UP THEIR CHARACTERS! Meh.. its pitiful, it really is.. 12 years for a game that i feel like they went backwards instead of forwards.

Ok, so im at work ..and im on my way home, get on mmorpg.com on my smart phone and i hear that there is beta keys and i check to see how many is left and there is 200 left. So i try to log on and keep getting wrong password over and over being i dont log on much. Check the page again .. 14 keys left, so i keep trying to log on and i send a request for my password to my email and i finally get it and i get back on MMORPG.com..put my new password in and BAM! We hit the sticks and my internet/wifi goes out... My luck ...went through all that trouble and a few F-bombs and no key. Bah ! >.<

Talk about mad... im pretty frustrated that i was so close to finally being able to play T2 and i get dicked out. Still my fault for not knowing my PW off the bat.

Ok so im done with the trial and i would like to purchase the whole game off of the main website. Now there is a fall special and a new "Ashes of History" purchase pack for $14.99 so obviously i get the whole game and this add-on pack, now will this include 30-free days also?

Ok guys, Rift has won me over and im joining the world.

BUT! Im doing things different this time around to spice it up, ive been healing since my early DAoC days through all the MMO's ending with WoW (Who wudda thunk?).

Ok but i want to go and do it through the Cleric class, is this possible by doing it through the Justicar tree? Sham/Justic/Warden or Purifier. I just want to make sure i can also PvE solo, be able to excel in dungeons and group play.

Of course going the warrior path is a possibility but i really want to play the Cleric class, but no be a main target healer, i want to tank this time around.

Ok so i saw the link to buying it online.

I see "Digital Trial Upgrade Edition" which i assume is the regular game, but it says that it DOES NOT ADD ANY COMPLIMENTARY GAMETIME" which i guess it means it doesnt have a free 30-days? Guess its just the game and you need another $14.99 to buy a month of gametime.

Now below it is the Digital Collectors Edition, now does that have a free 30-days gametime if i buy the game for $24.99?

I appreciate you guys seeing where im coming from, by no means do i want to come off like im flaming this game.

This game has a ton of potential and i will admit the cut-scenes are graphics are gorgeous but im here to try to make this game better for the rest of you fellas and im reporting alot of things, although right now the Dev's are nearly non-existent on the forums and alot of the guys are asking for some Dev feedback because we feel like we arent being heard at all. Im serious.. there is 0 communication between us and SE.. its pretty sad.

And again.. im not trolling nor am i flaming so there is no need for any FF fanbois to get at me as if im trying to trash their precious FF game. The whole point of my post was that as a long time MMO veteran we should have those controls early on in the game and if they arent going to put them in that it's going to cause a  huge stir in the future population of this amazing franchise.  Gamepads are cool and all but most players with a MMO background are going to look for their WASD because its been such a staple since the infancy of MMO's . 

It's like forcing a long time console halo player to play with a keyboard/mouse set-up, ive let my friends try out some FPS' on my computer and its hilarious to watch them try to use something so foreign to them.

I will no doubt be in line for this game if they get those controls fixed and please PLEASE PLEASE! Let us jump. Lol

I promise that i'll continue to give my point of view during my playtesting . Without breaking the NDA that is. ^_^

Let me cool down the flames a bit. You guys love to rip people into pieces sometimes and i just dont think some of you understand what i am talking about. And honestly its a hint of jealousy dont lie.. 

Im not complaining about.. crashing.. or lagging.. or the 30fps cap. or logging in/out for 90 mins straight.

I am talking about this online game that is coming out in the YEAR 2010 and the WASD controls BLOW, sorry... but if you just cater to a "control pad" your going to lose a alot of subs, im giving the game a go and i'll continue testing and learning everything i have too but there is no reason whatsoever that this game cannot support amazing WASD controls.. seriously i mean this is a next-gen MMO and you cant even jump.

And hush you people about your "NDA" threats, i see that so much "omg breaking the NDA".. im not sharing anything thats breaking the NDA, i can share with you that im IN the beta and im just talking about the failure of a correct movement system for most of us PC users who play MMO's. Sorry but most of us do not use gamepads.. if we wanted that.. we'll go buy a console, i play PC because i enjoy the mouse/keyboard.

(Plus you put me in a FPS  with key/mouse vs controller.. 9 times out of 10 the PC setup will stomp competition but thats besides the point)

So i was asked to join Square-enix as a alpha/beta tester but i might not even go forward and download it if the WASD controls suck or are non-existant.

You think by now that they would put in a decent mouse/keyboard movement system. Like i just dont get it guys...  Could anybody please enlighten me whats up with the movement controls before i go ahead and test it out.

Also another bad thing about this game so far.. TONS n TONS of invisible walls and if there is a 1 foot cliff.. you cannot jump off of it.. you have to control your toon/character around it and its highly annoying. Yes the lands are beautiful but its very pathy and the movement system blows chunks. <-- This info is from.. a true source.. believe it or not

EXACTLY!  What im going through right now, even right down to the trying to get into DoTA or LoL and master them but i end up installing it and quitting after a hour of getting steamrolled.

Im in WoW leveling a shaman and waiting for Cataclysm.

Really hoping SWTOR will bring me really back full on.
