News Discussion « General Discussion 9/28/10 11:20:23 PM
An uppdate to mine. I got a direct response back from support via email. They allowed me to keep my 25% off coupon and now they are allowing me to select a download only game of my choice from their store. So for those having trouble working with live support just send it in as an email. My email stated that APB may live on once again.... maybe a little forshadowing.....hmmmm |

This was my run in with EA support today. Ryan: Hi, my name is Ryan. How may I help you? I guess I'll just end up doing a charge back today. I love my credit union. |

I worked with Multiverse for a few months about two years ago on a project. I was in charge of UI design and I found the whole engine pretty decent for learning and indie developing. Its a combination of XML and Python scripting so learning the basics is pretty easy. I never really had a problem with my end of the production but the modelers and 3D art department had a lot of issues with importing objects to the game as well as making animations work. |

Unable to authenticate error on log in
General Discussion « Star Trek Online 1/29/10 12:50:54 PM
I did manage to login, sit through the opening sequence, and then beam over to the ship..........got booted and now unable to authenticate. It still shows a few of my friends on my list being online and in game though. |

I've developed bipolar disorder from playing this game since closed beta. I wanted to like it and with every change they do it gets worse :( I hate to say it but I have a feeling SW:TOR is going to end up the same as this. There will be no good MMO's again. |

STO: A Shoebox of a Game. And Badly Designed and Unfinished.
General Discussion « Star Trek Online 1/17/10 4:09:47 PM
I agree with the OP and PotBS comparison. I hit level 16 with both Klingon and Federation so pretty much the tier 1 and tier 2 experience is the same. Since the OB is limited to level 16 right now I still can't judge the whole game....Since everything is the same between tier 1 and 2. Tier 3 might hold the key to making this game really enjoyable. I still plan on sticking with the Klingon side of things at launch. I do "like" the game and plan to buy it but can I say the game is good? No I can't, for me right now it's just alright. My favorite part is the space combat, the only way it could be better is if it had full 3D space flight, everything else is sub par. It has good potential if they actually listen to the subscribers and our concerns. |

Yeah. All you have to do is ask someone knowledgeable to build you one within your budget through Newegg parts and send you the shopping cart. It's the easiest way to pre build a computer. If you want you can tweak it from there. Then when you are ready you just hit order. |

You are very lucky to get the OS installed when you ask them to do it for you. I've had a few friends and guildies burned by ibuypower and cyberpower over the past couple years. |

I would say it will be $49.99 us to purchase then it may have a cash shop or micro subscription fee. Probably around $9.99. Take a look at Crime Craft's payment modal. It may be similar. |

Yes it is 100% real. The numbers aren't what you think they mean though. It's up to 100k players per server and those are broken down into 100 player instances to spread out the load. You can pass back and forth from instance to instance to meet up with guildies and friends though. EA is just the publisher for this. Thank god they didn't influence making it. |

Whose legs do we have to break to get a recruitment forum for us to post in? :) |
|

There are no official forums www.apb-evolved.com is the closest thing. Some of the devs post on there. That login box is for beta :) |
