Since when did CO fail?

WoW did not even have current generation graphics at launch. There are mmos older than WoW that have better graphics than WoW.

Also DF does not have next gen graphics. It has current/sub current graphics. Mostly for large pvp battle streamline reasons yes? Though it DOES look much better than WoW. (Though that's not saying much.)

The question is kinda like asking if your tried of spaceships in scifi. Noway. Also all this is entertainment not a life. If you "get tried" your not doing something right.

 I'm glad you brought the fact that Fallout 3 is not a mmo to his attention. Thinking Fallout 3 is a mmo could be why he finds mmos dull. Perhaps now he will love Darkfall and forget about AV's awe inspiring example of how NOT to develop and release a mmo.

 I also play Formfall, the prerelease version of Darkfall.

It has no crafting, and far less grind than DF and twice the combat! And, unlike Darkfall, it has no levels!

Though I mostly watch from the sidelines. 

I never feel like crafting and ignore it in games that seem to have a deep crafting systems like Runes of Magic or Lord of the Rings. 

I have played RF Online but the grind drove me off. The 3 way wars were fun.

 I mostly like to adventure.  

and loot hats.

btw I'm playing Runes of Magic inbetween Day of Defeat, Age of Chivalry, Guild Wars, and City of Heros(I like sandwitches).

 I'm playing something better than Darkfall, that's what! So there!

Darkfall has problems. It's not all roses and sunshine like people might paint it as. But, if you don't play it.. You don't have to worry about the status of the game. If you are spending your waking hours on the forums of a game you don't play, you may want to seek out help or at least try to get a job (I know, the ecomony is tough right now), or better yet, find a game you enjoy, and play it. You will find much more joy doing that, then posting on a forum of a game you don't play or plan on playing.

You do know that for many of us, watching the troll/fanboi wars here is like a sporting event? It's like pvp in one of those text based mmo thingies.  Some folks like to jump in others like to watch. I spend about 5 minutes a day here.
I work, come home, eat, play, some do other stuff, and check out this place to see how the wars are going and if I could one day acually play Darkfall in a free trial!

aventurine's business model, unlike mcdonald's or WOW's, is focusing on quality, not quantity/throughput, and i say kudos to any/all game developers who put the emphasis on quality over quantity anyday.

Darkfall is a joke in the mmo world right now. The way AV handled the closed beta and launch didn't speak quality to me. Nor does this weird halfway released state make me feel confidant in AV's ablities. 
Still the combat looks good so I'm still waiting on this one. If the security flaws are fixed(NOT holding breath for that!) and a free trial comes out I'm going to play it.

Interweb servers DO pop up magically. In fact Talos and gang are camping a spawn right now.

DFO is unique all right. One of the most unique "launches" of a mmo I've seen. Still the stories of the pvp battles people have posted remined me of my days in Lineage2. So I want try DFO.(Also the orcs runing in circles I want to see.)

Starvault's website lists it's 25 year old lead developer as having 11 years mmo experiance. Yeah ok. I'll not hold my breath for this one.

I agree DFO will be a niche game but if you think you're not "being shafted" by AV when in fact your paying for a closed beta....*shakes head*

I'm waiting till a trial and to see how the hacking situation works out. I am most certianly NOT paying for a closed beta. And it IS one, just  without a character wipe.

 That thread is needed on the DFO forums. There are threads every now and then asking about a feature (like player housing) that was cut.

After reading your post I think your title should say, " Darkfall potentialy the best mmo ever."

Of course the best mmo ever is really a personal opinnion.

I don't see costume customization in there so it can't the best ever for me.

Though it does have orcs running in circles. That's a huge plus. (For me.)

Going by the only measure that really counts, subs, currently the best mmo ever is WoW and Darkfall is close to or is last on the "best"list.

What was that thread about speedhacks already made and released about then? I was thinking about trying darkfall but I'm now staying away for a month or two to see what happens with the hacks.

 You do realive your chest had something on it that has been repeated to defend Aventurine for SEVERAL YEARS NOW? Often on this very forum?

 I've come to the conclusion that I will try Darkfall if it ever has a free trial. (It was SUPPOSE TO have one; hope they will still offer it.)

Why would I decide this during one of the top 5 worst mmo releases ever?

Simple. They have running in circles as a feature of the game. The mobs do it. People do it in pvp and therefore I must do it.

 I mean it.

Mobs running in circles is the main reason I'm going to try this game. To buy it will require more.  But to try it to see orcs run in circles? Oh yes indeed. 

I am the fanboy of the running in circles.

As to the OP I loved the part about the orcs running in circles. 

I feel running in circles is a valid tactic in certain situations.

It is always my plan B.
