^That is what is really disturbing about this. Ive got one character who has an outfit with parts that CHANGE color going from med to the high rez in the conversations. Planets look far less cool than they could be from orbit. I hate the fuzzy look alot of my outfits have.

 

And they try to use the jedi mind trick on us "There are no high rez textures"

It and other small things point out the rather low level of customer service ea/bioware is dishing out.

I think this will cost them a significant number of subs this and next week.

TOR has GREAT animations! My Darth Quackers the Feathered Sith of Doom so totally runs like he has  giant flipper feet.

I give TOR a 10 out of 10 for realistic ducklike walking/running.

And my Trooper Scuba Steve and his mighty chest of infinite inventory can hold thousands of items in his ribcage. AND STILL run like a duck.

*cue bioware hand point conversation animation used in every bioware game ever*

I have to agree with this review. TOR is a bioware game, with massively co-op mode.

Expect that and you'll be happy. Mostly.

Now if they can just fix the horrid character animations. Here comes Darth Scuba Steve with his inviso flippers of sithness.

L2 was my first mmo. Played way back before any expansion.

Has leveling gotten better? Are groups hard to get into?

Ive NEVER seen an cheat. I've never even encountered anything I even thought was fishy. I'm no huge fan of the game and thier $40 pay to win tanks either.

I have seen one shot tanks. Even drive one. It's the gun.

It's odd.

You see cheaters on the cheat sites crying about how they got banned. 

You see people crying how they never/can't/don't ever ban.

I'll point out that the current Defiants can't make thier own ascended. All thier ascended are from the future were they did figure it out right before Regulos conquers everything.

And those Defiant ascended. Well the path to making them was rather... think morally gray in a nazi doctor way and you'll get close to what they had to do to make thier own ascended. 

Didn't they add the story missions this year staran?

Forget CoH. I want CoH 2!!

TOR is fun to play but the character models and animations outside of combat are classic bioware. ie they suck.

I'm waiting for CoH2 though it looks like a lonnnnnnng wait. If ever.  CoH looks old and stale.  My characters look like they are made from boxes now. Yea yea they always looked like that.

But I've moved on.

So I can hang out in Pocket D on my lv 50s and watch men playing girls doing erotic roleplay with underaged gay vampires who are hiding from thier evil/good twin/mom/spouse/BFF/robot minion of justice, cause they did something really bad but it wasn't REALLY bad cause you know everything is grey so nothing is wrong so I'm going to erp to you all night long.

To answer this question one must first determine how much AC a guy who plays mmos on average has compared to one who doesn't.

Cheap chinese import? The large flat empty feeling areas behind the characters say yes.

I've played COH for 30+months. Coh combat is slow. Period Aions starts out faster and only gets faster. Not matter what recharge dohickies you but on your powers COH still is slower at the beginning and at the end. Though at the end you tend to have like 20+ powers to use so it doesnt seem like its slow.

Yes and they went f2p with LOTRO after they saw how well they did with DDO, which was not doing so well before the switch.

 After they saw DDO's f2p rezz I guess they figured LOTRO would make out well too. And they were right. But DDO was a "failed" mmo before f2p. LOTRO was doing ok but seemed to be slowly skrinking like most mmo's that are doing ok but not great.
