UWO much better graphics (i played VCO and get eye cancer)

UWO much better world map

UWO have better economic/craft system

UWO have better political system

UWO is not a fantasy game like VCO (UWO is more like a historical naval game where u realy play the 15-17century)

UWO IS JUST BETTER IN ALL TERMS EXCEPT  the fight system is a bit better in VCO

So true.  It's a myth that charging monthly fees makes for a better game.  These companies are making all the profit they need from selling the keys.  That $15 a month is just another way to leech off extra money from gamers.  Example: Guild Wars.  If you are going to start bashing that game, then you should seriously step back and take a look at what game we are talking about here in this thread.

hardware fees

you guys are fucking stupid if you think they make their money on selling a key

 

as far as the game goes

 

++ to ship combat

+ to ship customization

+ to character creator

+ to the possibility of making this game epic in the future

 

- to ground combat (its clunky and poor like Champions)

-to no diplomacy like stated before, would be cool if what the federation did choice wise effected the overall game (not talking about roleplay diplomacy)

-to ground combat again

-to having a bit more depth

-short pvp matches, could of been more epic (though they are fun)

Btw:I think the ppl which flame and try to bash AoC are that ppl with bad PC´s and now try to ruin a nice game that they are not handle to play.

Iam just started AoC few days ago iam lvl.32 and iam happy atm with the game.They fixed a lot since release and yeah its totally fun more then Warhammer or world of gaycraft.

The onky mmo fps is neocron2 its a little bit old and have CS1,6 graphics but there you have a real world with all that you search there.14days trial possible,its a look worth but its very hard for starters coz trhey have much input for you brain ;)

Maybe that game is a bit old but you find no other game out there like this,some other  try to make a game like this but they fail and  going slow to devlop so try neocron its worth.(I mean games like Twilight War and Earthrise)

I like the graphic setting of this game but with 21zoll monitor its awfull to play in 800x600/1024x800
