I'm not hyped but like everything I have read about the game until now.I'll keep following it's development because of Ragnar Tornquist and hope FC don`t mess with that one at launch . Ok give us a gameplay video guys. |

And don't forget Aion will not feature Game Guard at launch and it might bring some more players in And for the sceptical here'is the link www.aionsource.com/forum/news-announcements/55761-aion-launch-version-you-want-read.html |

After reading all the posts,it's clear that more than half of the people posting in this thread have never played Aion.Whether some like it or not Aion will hit WAR pretty hard because Aion is doing what WAR was supposed to do in the first place. WAR will not die but will slowly shrink to Vanguard status with a few thousands faithful followers. Will Aion succeed?Only time can tell but as for myself I see it as a good game(polished at launch) which has brought back some challenges.NCsoft has added lots and lots of content(mostly PvE) with the latest patch. This game is worthy for what it is nothing more, nothing less. Last but not least,I will never go back to WAR.

I totally agree with you,I like Aion for what it is ,period. Some people in these forums bash a game because it does not have the feature of another game and yet they complain that they are getting bored with the other game. Pretty fickle minded,I would say... as they don`t know what they want because some people have become so jaded. |

This game looks very promising, they must take their time and make sure it is polished when released. This game can be a winner and for once we gonna have a real MMORPG. |

The only thing that can prevent me from buying this game is Gameguard.OP,like others had said you better try the game for yourself and make your opinion.

Whats the Selling point of this new X-pac for WoW?
General Discussion « World of Warcraft 8/31/09 1:47:36 AM
As a player of old vanilla WoW,I must say that this expansion looks good for me.I left before TBC went live because I was not interested in what Blizzard was adding to the world. Now almost four years back,it looks like Blizzard is looking forward to grab those who left before the 2 expansions went live. 2010/2011 will be very competitive for the upcoming MMOs(and no I'm not hyped about SW TOR).Right now Cataclysm is my No1 to get unless 38 studios or CCP drop a bomb about their future respective mmo.I'll probably re sub 4 months prior Cataclysm release to level my 60Druid to 80 and do some raids until the Xpac goes live.

Originally posted by Seamz We said the same thing for 2008 and we all know how it ended. Anyway,OP you are not alone.Proof is that AoC and WaR rocketed at launch with phenomenal sales but fail to retain players after 2 months. Most of us are looking for alternatives but they are not coming.Aion is the only game post WoW which is polished and with it's end game fully functional. If Aion and the others don`t keep up,Cataclysm will bring back older players to WoW...including myself and we we will back next year waiting for alternatives. |

That debut trailer was awesome and ArenaNet art style is a win for me.The landscape and the forest shot were both amazing. |

General: Jeff Strain and David Reid Out At NCsoft
News Discussion « General Discussion 8/11/09 9:56:15 PM
GW2 was under the direction of Mike O'Brien while Jeff Strain was the President of NCSoft. The way they put things looks like Strain left NCSoft not ArenaNet.If Wyatt,OBrien and Strain are still the backbone of ArenaNet then we have nothing to fear even if that news sound like somekind of whistleblower. |
