a guard standing around? okay, he's guarding. a guy with a shovel standing around? No, he better be digging something.

LOL its funny you should say are some dudes in SWTOR i just came across with shovels....and guess what they are doing? guessed it....digging ;)

is the hole getting bigger?

if not, theyre only PRETENDING to dig a hole, just like a modern worker would

theme park or social realism? its better, than sandbox, anyway

No offense, but every time I read one of your posts, it sounds like its being said out loud by William Shatner. Please learn how to properly use commas.

You totally "got me".../sigh

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I don't disagree with your Shatner joke though.

No offence, but have you noticed that Simplius isn't from English speaking country. Shouldn't it be enough that his posts are understandable?

OP: I think it should be common courtesy to also add a link to the original guide

Go to, it's a database with info about SWTOR. Search using the mission name (Lost Pilgrim), and look info about the quest in there.

If you can't find using Torhed, I'll also post the solution below. But it would be more useful for you to learn to use Torhead, so please try to find from there before checking the text below.

He's dead, look for a skeleton on the ground, and use its datapad to proceed with the quest.

Kooshdin I think it's unlikely that they lied. They have posted a clear definition of how they count their players along with several press releases. All paid accounts with game time left, and game-room players who have used the game during last 30 days, are counted as players.

Also, are you aware that there are probably about 800 WoW servers across all regions and languages. They get their huge numbers by having a huge number of servers, not fitting a huge number of people on a single server. If you want a single server with huge number of people, try EVE.

While the OP is a bit too enthusiastic, I don't see why some of you are personally attacking him or dissecting his original post in order to find a fatal flaw to exploit.

Why is it hard to see? He's practically calling those who disagree outdated and implying that they are stupid. That kind of approach is bound to create a counter-reaction.

Virtual reality and 3D technology are coming. As technology evolves, I think it's bound to happen sooner or later.

However, I think that those raving about Oculus Rift should be a bit more patient. Oculus Rift is a great device for half an hour of fun, but it might not be at the level where you'd want to regularly keep it on your head for hours. I think it's more likely that Oculus Rift is still a trailblazer for new technology, and that the real success will be something that improves from it.

Indy games can't compete in quality or polish against AAA game that costs 50 million dollars to make, they need to compete with something else. Being innovative and focusing on smaller market is a good way to do that. Indy games are also often cheaper, which means that people are more willing to buy some different game and take the risk even if they're not sure whether they like the game or not.

Whereas an AAA game that costs 50 million dollars will need to have a large market in order to sell enough copies to make profit, and they need to keep the unit price high which means that people will want to be sure they like the game before making the investment and are less likely to purchase something different than what they usually buy.

1) Check the level of enemies you're fighting - it's the number on enemy's portrait once you've selected the enemy. You should be fighting enemies about your level. If the enemies are 2 or more levels above you're level, then it's likely you're in the wrong place.

2) This should be obvious, but since you're talking about getting past enemies: Don't try to get past them, it's much easier to just kill those enemies that are in your way. Even if the mission doesn't say that you need to kill them, don't try to get past enemies that attack you when there isn't a good route to do so, instead kill them and make yourself a clear route. Getting past is usually a lot harder than simply killing them.

And just to make sure you know how to fight properly:

-Pick a target (click on it)

-Move close enough to use the skills, and have your character turned to face the target.

-Click/use hotkeys to activate the skills

-When fighting a group of enemies, kill one at a time this way, then select the next one

-After you're done with a group of enemies, there's a skill (I think it was Medidate or something like that for Jedi) that restores your health. Make sure to have full health before engaging next enemy group.

Maybe they could add monsters that attack and destroy anything that looks too much like a penis.

Then players could fight those monsters to defend their e-peens.

There's no point in getting a blu-ray drive for playing PC games. Blu-ray is in theory better technology than DVD, but there are so few people who have seen any reason to upgrade from DVD into blu-ray in their PCs that no PC publisher is going to release anything on blu-ray.

It's more likely that both DVDs and blu-rays are getting replaced by high-speed internet connections. If you need blu-ray for something now, then buy it, but if you're wondering whether you should buy it to be ready for the future or not, it's not worth buying.

explain what EA has to do with Bioware's writers being good or not.

Bioware is a brand used by Electronic Arts. They bought the dev studio called Bioware in 2007, but have continued to use the brand.

I dont see how that automatically makes drew karpyshyn a bad writer.  If he was writing a story under bethesda, he probably would have more freedom.

I just tried to post: All Bioware's personnel could be considered employees of EA.

Klash2def's question was "what EA has to do with Bioware's writers being good or not?". I tried to answer, it has to do because EA hires and fires those writers and gives them their orders.

I don't want to start arguing whether Bioware's current writers are good or not. But whether they are good or not, it has very much to do with EA.

It's not really even possible to try to analyze a video like that. In online game you can never see actions of other players as they take them in real time. Instead you'll see the result of their actions, varying latency times, and algorithms used to compensate the latency. You don't know what the other player really did, or when he did it, accurately enough to analyze the video in slow motion and see things like reaction times, facing when the other player aims, etc.

If the devs don't take action, the best you can do is to get opinions from best players in the game. Best players will usually know what is possible in the game and what is not, and can give a good opinion.

The 2nd tier founder pack - 159 dollars DISCOUNTED from 289 dollars.  What a bargain!!!  And what does this get you the 50 dollar starter pack doesn't have?   One extra pet.  Yep, 110 dollar pet.

You just totally failed to read their webpage. For the extra 110$ a player will get

-2 200 extra loyalty points

-1 extra monthly costume membership

-permanent mount

-2x temporary mounts that last for 3 days.

That 110$ pet you're speaking of does not exists.

Have you checked your monitor cable? Any problem with the cable could easily lead to the colors being screwed, and if it's a cable problem then there's no need to replace the whole monitor.

But considering that it's a cheap 19 inch screen, maybe this could be a good reason to upgrade to a bigger and better monitor.

Let's imagine that someone took battles and killing out of the games, what would we have left:

-WoW's combat mechanism could be implemented into crafting. Top crafting raids could compete who gets 3% better crafting results than the other team.

-FPS genre could be replaced with games where you have to track fast-moving items on the screen with mouse. There could even be a story, like you'd be a researches who's trying to map flightpaths of flies in different environments by pointing at them with a flashlight

-Platformers don't really need to have any killing on them. Who wants to play a genre of games where your aim is to jump accurately from one platform to another?

1: Inability to remap the keys: If I don't get to choose the keys I want to use for movement, actions, etc. it's a lot harder to enjoy playing the character. Sadly even some big PC exclusive games like SWTOR have had problems with this.

2: Not enough inventory space: There used to be a time when I considered inventory management and extra runs to deliver loot a part of the game. Now I've grown up, and feel like I don't want to waste my time with those things.

3: No chat bubbles: While I can live without them, I'd really wish MMOs would have them

Greed Monger was removed from after Greed Monger devs asked to remove negative posts about their game from the forums and threatened with a lawsuit.

From a company standpoint, They could make more profits if they just charged entry.
From a customer standpoint why pay them so you can work for them?

If beta access was purchase only, then SOE devs would seem like greedy money grabbers who monetize everything.

When they also let some people into beta free, it makes SOE look like a good dev studio who has made so good a game that they can't take all the beta testers and need to charge money to allow the most dedicated and enthusiastic people priority for getting in-game.

Do you need that expensive case for your computer? While the case you've chosen is likely easier and faster to built the computer and later switch parts, you could save some money if you just bought some really cheap case instead.
