Is that former Colts coach Tony Dungy pictured on the front page screenshot?

How about Ultima Online 2?   I was looking forward to this when it was first revealed, it was a mistake on Electonic Arts part  I believe in pulling the plug  (in 2001) on this before it even had the chance to hit the market.

Who knows?  Maybe if it made it out the door and had released a year or two before World of Warcraft, things may have looked a lot different today in the MMO landscape.

I would have to be paid at least hourly minimum wage to play this game.

Am waiting on purchasing Dragon Age (Dont pay full price for games, perhaps on Black Friday it may go cheap for  a day and Il grab it then)  but having played BG2 and the newer bioware games, I can tell just from looking at it and reading certain reviews, its better than pretty much all the MMORPG garbage around nowadays.   Im pretty tired of mmorpgs (or at least what is out there right now) perhaps the new Star Wars game may change that.  Im done with the Warcrafts (which I stopped playing 2 years ago) and Aions (Which i never have, and never will play) types, which would be better off dead. (And yes, I actually played Champions Online unfortunately)

I have not played in several weeks (cancelled 6 month sub earlier this month), and I am not going to to even try this bloodmoon event after reading the forums (was not that excited about it in the first place).  I would definitely not pre-order STO after this experience, and am going to wait at least a few months to see how that turns out on release before even thinking about purchasing that game.

I think it is too late, XFire is showing 75% drop since the peak after launch, and altough that number is far from reliable I think it has lost atleast half of the players.

Heck I like the game but cant see myself continuing to play since I am not an altaholic and I want to focus on one or two characters but after level 35 there really isnt much to focus on.

Yep.  I will not be resubbing after my 6 months are up.  Heck, I haven't even logged into the game for a few weeks now.  Just don't have the desire to play.

Same here, have not played in weeks, last week I did contact biling and they refunded my 6 month subscription though, they were helpul and quick to respond.  I should know better than pre-ordering a mmorpg. (usually I wait a year or so)

Right now, people who have cancelled their accounts can still play.  I cancelled (got a refund) my 6 month subscription earlier this month, yet about 2 weeks later can still play.   Whats telling is that I havent played since I cancelled earlier this month, even for "free".    Have no wish to log in after hitting level cap, too bad this content (and it still needs a lot more) was not in to begin with.

Its open to all now, it doesnt matter

Can WereWookies and Vampire bounty hunters be far behind?

incredibly boring

Same here, but thankfully reading forums (and posts like this) and reviews, I have not spent a dime on or played Aion at all (nor plan to, ever).  Dragon Age looks excellent, there are several different, what appear to be very engaging, coherent story lines in it, something most MMOs lack.

I can see CO being more successful on the Xbox 360 (If it actually releases on it next year) than it will end up being on the PC.

It is a very shallow game (at the moment, it could change, years from now),  needs more meat on its bones.   Can get to the level cap in under 72 hours playing time.   Everyone seems to gravitate towards the same powers, a lot of unorginal costumes (ive seen more demons, robots and western/cowboy types than anything).   This is a game that I suggest waiting another year for, for those on the fence about it.

Im curious, how did i16 make AE harder to farm?   Cant a person just set the group size to 8 now, and alter the difficulty and not have to ask others to join?  Im not a farmer (or even playing the game at the moment) so would like to get the scoop.

I find it hard to get into any superhero mmo, your not a superhero if everyone in the world is a superhero aswell.

Thats understandable, I wish they would make superheroes something you earn the ability to play, until then you only can play citizens who have jobs and duties to take care of, drive around in vehicles, go to and from work etc until you build up to a certain event that unlocks you a  superhero to create and play, but with the ability to still play the normal character(s) and interact on that level with the world.

It would make being a superhero more rewarding and you wouldnt see 50 superheroes flying around at the same time constanty.   If you saw a superhero as a citizen you would go "Hey, wow there goes underpants man!"   Maybe a bit like Star Wars Galaxies Jedi system (when it was first introduced)  you can be a police officer for instance, and will have to get to say level 50 or whatever, do this and that and etc and then this event occurs where you unlock the superhero character slot.

Deal of the day item here for those interested:

good deal unless you can wait until black friday when Amazon usualy drops prices big time for a lot of games.

honestly it would be hard to tell the screens apart from champions(aside from the one with batman obviously, and the fire storm looking one)

I actually saw a better looking Batman in the CO open beta lst night  (the guy named him 'dark knight')    It does look very similiar though so far.

I just played for the first time today for a couple of hours, having already preordered with the 6 month subscription to go along with that.  Im probably not going to play much if anymore at all until the 3 day headstart.  I like what I have experienced and dont want to overplay it on characters that will be wiped.

I preordered and am still working on the download, cannot get in yet, but would not cancel my preorder nor am upset in anyway.  Its the first day of open beta, maybe I will be to finish downloading tommorrow and get it running, or the next day.     Now if I cannot get in to play at all during open beta then uh-oh hotdog time.

I saw this earlier on the main forum boards, couldnt find it again, thanks for posting this, got it down to 74 mb and hoping it finally works.

I moved the files and reduced the patch amount to around 900 mb, however the patcher keeps locking up after a couple %.   So even by downloading this it still comes down to cryptics patcher which is having issues right now.
