Tons and more will be back at expansion. Atm frankly nothing beats WoW.. I cant think of a game that is better designed and has so much attention to details. It covers almost everything you could do in a MMORPG and it does it smooth and nice. Only thing that is missing that I can think of is Player Housing. but Im sure they will get that covered too sometime.

I didnt like the controls, the pot fest, the class balance, the quests, the grind, the interface. Tbh didnt like anything about it.

PVP is balanced enough in WoW once you understand your class. No game can get a perfect balance at both pve/1vs1 pvp and mass pvp between all classes. WoW is closest I found and its balanced around team play pretty perfect for me. L2 was too at some point pretty balanced around team play but cant say now .. havent played it in the last few months.

very weird... when i look at the screens posted i see such a BIG similarity with L2. The character faces, bodies and clothing looks/style screams L2 clone.
i wonder if the grinding is a bitch too :p but heh instancing is a good first step in any mmorpg and necesary. i think ill take a look at this when it will launch. |

Is this also made on the unreal 2 engine as Lineage2 is? Is the movement from WASD smooth and possible? or its just another click2move crap? Does it have crafter/builder proffesions or something similar? Anyone found any bots and such? thx. |

Saw a coleague of mine playing at work. I stayed with him till after work a few hours and watched him play. Graphics are ok but they still have to work on alot of places. its still beta so i guess no problem there. the movement is terrible my friend concluded. he couldnt get used to it pretty much in a few days of play. quests.. i saw just a few couldnt tell much about them. skill system abit weird. alot of grinding to get some of ur skills up. cant tell much here i didnt ask. my friend couldnt do much pvp. he got owned fast while he was lagging most of the time. server lag+ low fps no chance. was funny when he was trying to hunt and mobs were running away from him but not nice cause .. chase mobs around ++more lost time. when he went to higher level mobs he got killed a few times so he had to move to another area. from what i saw i could only give this game a 4/10 hype. really not impressed but since it will be free im sure some people will play. although if u want any serious items to have a chance you will have to take your credit card out and use it. |

Its funny how people pre-order a game without having a clue how the game really is. Sadly they will regret it after they put cash in other peoples pockets. A normal intelligent person shouldnt not pre-order a game thinking its good when: - there are like only 20 screenshots released and a few movies showing nothing but a few skills and mounts. - there is no real media released about the gameplay, pvp, boss hunts or anything alike. Lets see what did they let us know about their game... you can get to rule the world for 21 days. 1 person per server being archlord. (controls weather, taxes) you can have a mount. there are 2500 quests. you can start the real pvp at lvl 60? (not sure here) and max level is 100. you can pk anyone lvl 6+ anywhere (not in main cities)without getting much of a penalty unless you really abuse this freedom. there is no healer class in game and no healing abilities. you just gonna use potions. you will treasure teh pot :p gender restricted classes and elves can only be females. there are like 2-3 proffesions. not sure which and what is there. one of them can make pots? and make the real cash probably :p payplus system. lowest subscription 10$ middle 20$ highest 40$. you pay more u get more. a few other things which i dont remember atm. feel free to add. Now what is rumored or translated (dont know how accurate) from korean sites. Point &click control. Altough we know they have WASD implemented but we also know its same like in lineage 2 meaning useless. The game looks very similar to L2. 1 vs 1 pvp is a waste of time? who has more pots survives (if the duel is between similar level peeps) The human knight is the class that can take the most damage. But we dont know if it has any tanking abilities like taunt/hate to keep agro. The only class that has some real agrro control abilities is the orc hunter(archer). No clue how that is done and no they dont have a pet to tank. Grinding is a pain without having potions that will increase your attack speed, life regen etc. So thats all I could find out about this game by doing a few hours of research. (reading every fansite, every forum. google is ur friend:p). Based on all this I would not pre-order this game. Please if you know more info about it do tell :p but try to not break the NDA if you are a beta player. Funny thing is why Codemasters isnt releasing some more info& media about this game and keep people in the dark so much. Most people wont pre-order a game if they dont know much about it. If the game is good what are they affraid of? Im sure their marketing department isnt just stupid. |

Neocron sure was skill based at least when I used to play it. Too bad they dididnt put a little bit of money into it to make it great. It showed so much promise.
