Claims like "There's nobody in the cities" aren't helping your arguments - because quite simply, the play hasn't been IN Cities for quite some time. If you were actually IN the game, you'd know that,

I've taken EVERY free trial. I've taking an extra one as well. There is barely anyone playing.

It's called "When a reporter doesn't bother factchecking". Of course, internet ass-lick sites hardly ever do anything but put a happy face on anything their interview subject blows up their asses.

It's a fact they don't have over 100K SWG subscriptions. They have said so before but accidently. It's half that at best.

nub or not, there were so many exploits available to jedi to escape a BH encounter is makes me laugh just thinking about it... I totally understand why most BHs I talked to either quit/swapped prof/didnt hunt jedi anymore etc... or ye even grinded one themselves. We had maybe 4-5 really hardcore BHs on the server putting in alot of time hunting Jedi, but 4-5 isnt really enough when you got a thousand peeps lvling padawans 

Even with all the exploits and such, it was fun.

That was until all the AFK Raytt Trail grinding where even the CSR's themselves helped the Jedi exploit to gain XP and actually PREVENTED BH's from making kills on the trail by bouncing us out of there. "Sure.. have a Jedi AFK.. that's StarWarzee"

I'd rather spend 3 weeks as Brittany Spears' kid.

You only need 4 hours to see how much the game still sucks.

My Krayt-filled FWG5. Pre-nerf. It broke in a repair tragically, and its replacement didn't come close to the same damage output.. 100DPS less.

- During Smed's big press conference when he said "Who here plays SWG?" someone shouted: "Dead Man Walking!" But all in all smed praised us the community and really kissed up to the fact that they dropped the ball but that the new dev team is doing some of the greatest work in the industry.

I doubt that Vanguard will close down, However I am not to happy with some of the up coming changes to the game that SOE is developing for it.  Taking away EE, making all items bind on equip and bind on pick up is really going to hurt the game and take away from what was the original vision for the game.

When SOE took over they stated that they were not going to make major changes to the vision of the game but as I see it and a lot of other players they are changing the game to be more WoWish. If we wanted to play WoW we would go out and buy it.

Or you could quit VG and get EQ2 for free. It's close enough.

If you mean next as in....they have one more year starting in October, I withdraw my bet, I am not claire voyant enough to predict the future that far.

The "restructuring" is supposed to go along with the announcement that they were partnering with NC Soft. For the life of me I couldn't figure out WHY they'd partner with one of their chief rivals who are whipping their asses. One insider told me he heard it was to restructure themselves as less developer and more publisher, even with their own titles. This was also supposed to herald staff reductions and supposingly at least 3 game closures or sell-offs.

Now if only Smed gets the axe.

Because you see... the REAL underlying message with what is in yellow is that nobody took notice of, is that NOWHERE is $OE mentioned AT ALL. It's all SCEI, their game division. $OE was supposed to be the PS3's exclusive player and custodian of the pS3's online market.

They've confirmed it's an MMO.. that's all. At one point BEFORE that, a board mod at Bioware said they didn't like working with someone else's IP but QUICKLY recanted that. Proof they will was just announced with the Sonic the Hedgehog RPG.
