I can testify that the new UI is great!!! I had the chance of running the old version before the patch, so the changes are way for the better!!!!

Just been able to get my skills and dna as I level and not running to town to find an NPC to get them is neat!!! I really miss rake nail been buffed up to lvl 30 or 40 cant recall exactly, but as a  compensation, with the dna points now i have my Blood Arrow at lvl 5 plus the Illusion is available at a lower level.

I havent even dabbled into reinforcing/enchanting, will do at lvl 25, right now Im 23

So far, the game is going in the right direction!!!

well, last night was the last one for the beta, was able to login, and it was very active, as far as stormreach itself. Started to look for some quests and was suddenly surprised by a sucubbi hitting me right there on harbormaster's plaza!!! Of course I was no match since I was only a lvl 3 fighter.

Repoped in tavern and kept walking around this time to see what else I could find around town. General chat was boling with activity, interesting spots where the beholder slaying in a bar and the white dragon in one of the plazas being hacked by around 10-15 people.

Some other interesting things that I noticed around town where some kind of dragon hatchling, a gelatinous cube and if im not mistaken, a meteor strking the harbormaster plaza.

Lets see what happens in the live servers!!

Btw i get cash points pretty much cheaper :D, maybe its worth them somehow to trade for dalants, if thats doable without getting banned ?

For voting, I think if you click on the left is for yes, right for no, after that you should see a bar on the voting window, then you can close it.

For a guild, that depends on the guild itself, some accept lowbies while others will only take 45+, after server merge(Chiron), grouping should be a lot easier, since there are more people, which mean more probabilities of finding a group near your level or a kind mid to high lvl that will powerlevel you, but this game isnt all about the levels, work your pt, max them out and then level. My accretian is lvl 48 melee at gm, shld and def at 91/99 plus all skills gmed

For cash points, save them for the begining of end game, around lvl 48, unless you want to get jades to raise xp gain or xp recovery pills(these sell real good!). When you hit 50, you will want to start adding talics to your stuff, and that will demand a lot of money, so save for 100% upgraders

I can confirm that. Since I didnt know about the relog,  I went ahead and purchased again my storage with my full 5 pages. When I relogged, I discovered that my previous items were restored, and what surprised me alot was that I got the money that I spent back!!

Now some things are getting better, now I get to do more BDs, guild and random. On the bad side, I can say that there is a very annoying group of coras that like to camp the very sette portal!!! so whenever to port to sette to go to VC, you get 1-2 shotted right away when you show up.

I hope we have race leaders already, as this is becoming very irritating

Well I logged in last night just to make sure that I moved everything that i could into my chars before the merge, and lucky me that I did!! This morning that I logged in to check the thing before going to work,  I found out my storage gone!!!! PHEWWW!!

A pleasant surprise for Accretia, is that HQ was FULL!!! I presume the other races might be the same, so this weekend promises to be a very exciting one, as there are no race leaders elected yet and the votings are going to be very tight I guess. Apart from that, what Ive heard from other servers(I used to play in Novus) is that Accretia had almost 100% of wins at chip war(Novus sucked on this part), so now with all the accretians in one place, I hope to see those race buffs going up to lvl 3!!!!

well I got lucky and last night received the invitation to the beta, by now, hopefully, the download should be completed so as soon as I get home I will give it a try and will try to comment about it

dont expect too much. They added some "gold stuff" to buy gold only ubber equipment, but in order to get gold you need to mine it and of course, your race needs to win the chip war.

Expect even more pwnage from high lvls, as they gave them even more powerful stuff. Im ACC puni lvl 46, and nothing new was added for low to medium levels. Besides this, a new server, Owen, was opened, to make the population problem even worst

what about those games that do not have things like raid gear? if the same gear you use for soloing is the same that you would use when grouping with high lvl chars to do tough bosses/dungeons?

Hey, another adult. Hi!

The problem is, that in order to have some fun, you have to be decently geared, otherwise there wont be any fun at all in getting 1 shotted by X or Y mob, either solo or grouped.

Im basicly a soloer, but it reaches a point when you DO need to group in order to get better stuff in order to keep going solo, otherwise, the 1shotted mob will appear over and over again.

It was that pride in our realm that made us feel we were heroes of the realm. Otherwise what does being better (in any way) in the game matter?

The 3 realm system is essential. It stops one realm dominating the game permantly, I remember my realm in DAOC allying with another to push back the third.

To have real RvR you must have realm pride and this must come beofore guild and personnal achievment. Making the best leveling area RvR dependent and giving realms bonuses for holding areas does that. Making dungeons a realm effort helps too.

I wonder how much of our MMO problems have occurred due to a reduction in the average age of those who play? What with cartoon graphics, the introduction of consoles and so on it’s a wonder anyone over 25 plays anymore.

I can relate to this. I play RF Online and its 3 realm system, Accretia(cyborgs), Bellato(namely cute dwarves) and Cora(elves). I do feel like whenever  I can run to low lvl areas when they are yelling "raiders in 213", as I play Accretia. I might or might not wipe out the raiders, but just the rush of running and helping my fellow racemates makes me feel a real hero!!

Another thing is when I go raiding the other races realm, I do feel like a hero when taking the fight to them, even better when there is a guild raid!!! when we get back to our hq and start counting how much kills and CP(contribution points) we got really makes the day!!

So summing up, I think feeling heroic in a game is just a matter of personal liking, just IMHO

While I do not care about RMT, I do not support, actually I strongly object to buying from gold farmers.  I consider only the developer as the only valid acceptable RMT seller.  PERIOD.

Gold farmers are hackers.  Thieves.  NO dealing with them.

This sounds like a very good idea!! I would definately consider buying gold from the actual game itself if its available. Developers, get the hint???

you are right. When everyone saw Star Trek coming out, everyone that i know just mentioned about ramblings and science and stuff. but when they saw the movie they came out asking more about it

This movie is like it has been stated way too much before, aimed at the masses that arent familiar at all with the regular star trek line. At least is bringing out some interest in old movies and even the tv series.
