I bought the CE edition as soon as I seen they were on sale. The statue alone is worth over $60 (if it's anything like the other statue from gentle giants old republic line of statues). No regrets here.

This cable connector is used to help organize your front control panel cables of your case , alot of them will plug into it and helps get them into the correct connector on the motherboard.

 

Hooking up your motherboard without it is fine , it is just some help to make sure things are in the right place.

I'm realy not sure , everything i read about the new cpu's havn't mentioned much about wich socket type they will support . sorry i can't be more help.

This is what I'm using and it's in around your price range. All are compatable and the cpu can be easily overclocked to 4.00 ghz.

F2P is Everquest II Extended , (Next) is their current project. I dont have a link for the article but maybe you can find it with a google search.

Sony is working on Everquest Next. Maybe it will be more of the old style than the route Everquest 2 has taken /fingers crossed

I just recently built a new PC as well and I decided to go with the HAF X 942. Reason being is for a good mid tower at around $130 + the 50 bucks to ship it ... newegg offerend the HAF X for about the same cost + free shipping.

Just a idea , it is a very good case and you will always have it.

To OP , maybe the problem is something other than your card or drivers , I have noticed in my own rig that when the PSU is getting bad everything gets very hot , idk just a thought.

I never had problems running Nvidia cards on ATI chipsets. currently have a ATI board and Nvidia card.

Bethesda , elder scrolls i think would work well in a mmo.

From what you described about your case it sounds like you have a antec 900 case, If so there is a spot for a side mount fan that will blow directly on to your card.

It should run fine with that but if your using vista 64 another 2 gig RAM gives a huge boost.

Try alt + Tab when you get the black screen.
