Those are some pretty bad ass screens for a game that most people dislike. I personally have never tried it, but it looks like some nice eye candy if you ask me.

Is there something different between this WotLK video and the one that was posted about 2 days prior to this one? or is it the same news just reposted?

I was at the Las Vegas fanfaire and learned a little about this. One thing they don't mention is that merc's will be restricted to 1 per player. So in reality, you could only have a full group of 3 Players and 3 mercs.

I couldn't sign up and participate in the beta, mainly because it says my account is not eligble. I'm guessing thats because I do not currently have an active subscription. But on the beta signup page, it states...

"Welcome to the EverQuest® beta test.  A shining portal leads to a distant future where Riftseekers have used the Plane of Time to corrupt the very fabric of reality. Prepare for your journey--this is Norrath as you've never seen it before."

So apparently the next expansion takes place in the future.  Little inside info on it they I havn't seen released anywhere else in case anyone is interested.

At least with older games it used to be rewarding, difficult, and had a deep social sense.  Now all there is are people who want to solo to end game.  Get there fast and screw enjoying it.  That's just crazy talk.  Group?  No thanks we only have 4 quests in common and i'd rather do my 4 than help you with the one or two you still need to do.  Over half the groups you get invited to the people don't talk.. they just mindlessly get the quest done and leave.  It was a huge hassle for them to even have to invite you because they couldn't do it themselves.  Role playing?  No that doesn't happen anymore.  Not only does it not exist... Games are designed for soloing.  They are designed to be easy, accessible, and mindnumbingly balanced.  Skill?  No that's an unfair advantage.  What we focus on here is time invested.  It's like if in real life two people spent 200 hours boxing, but one only hit a punching bag while the other boxed real people in real fights.  Only after those 200 hours they are 100% equally balanced.

Wow, well thats something I've never seen any game do before. Offer money to testers of a game who didn't even pay anything in the first place if they're unsatisfied...But I'm assuming if you played long enought to hit level 40 you were enjoying yourself somewhat. It wouldn't make sense to invest hours and hours and hours of a shitty game, just to hit level 40 and recieve 30 bucks. With those hours you could have been mowing launs or been working and made the money within 4 hours heh.($7 an hour)

But anyway, regarding the post. I just don't think many at all even played, possibly not even 100 players, hence why it shut down.

I'd say take a break for a couple of months and get yourself out of MMO's a little bit after this incident. If you jump on immedietly to another game, It won't be as fun or fresh. But if you wait a bit, you might enjoy it more and get some time away from these crazy MMO games.

Just recieved this e-mail as of today. I've never shared my pass or account with anyone. I'm the only one who knows it, but I'm guessing somewhere somehow I was hacked from a website somehow? Don't know exactly, but it turns out that getting my account back looks good. 

I guess it wasn't a random ban and someone was on my account so I apologize to blizzard for the random ban comment even though I had my reasons for saying it. Also, thanks to all those who believed me when I said I hadn't done anything illegal. Wish me luck on going through the forms and getting this all sorted.

I'm on my way to getting my account back, I received the same e-mail as you about the economy thing and complained and its seems to be getting resolved. Good luck to you too OP.

Are the forum titles still being updated/discovered and given out, or has this practice been neglected or abandoned since it was begun? Just curious because I personally love(ed) it.

Blizzard is very strict about cheating in their games, have you done anything that may be even the slightest against their rules?

I believe him 100% Wolfen. I'm a casual player that made it to level 70, never purchased gold outside of the game or did anything illegal, and somehow recieved the same ban, without even being subscribed mind you. Something's wrong on there part here.

Atleast send an e-mail back. Don't just be a sitting duck. I am still awaiting a reply.

Well it wasn't a phishing e-mail. All the links were official and what not. But apparently I am not the only one who got this economy ban for no reason.

I got this exact same e-mail 2 days ago and I have not even had an active subscription for the past 5-6 months. I have never done anything wrong either my friend. Go to my thread that I created earlier and see if you can get any answers. No one helped me sadly.

Tigris, log onto the worldofwarcraft.com website and log into the account management screen there.  Check your status and your account should be Frozen awaiting a payment option.  If that is the case then everything is fine.

2 Hours a day = 14 hours a week = $4.50! awesome!

EDIT: uh wait.. I havn't payed a monthly sub in so long that I was thinking it was $15 per week, not month lol. Thats not as awesome as I thought. My mistake!
