EQ was my childhood frame age 11 to 15. I started in 2001 and loved every moment. Long live this game.

hehe, I enjoyed the comparison too. But I was an avid EQ player in 2000, so that was pretty rough yet fun. I can relate to all the nooks and crannies references. I playled Wow on its release for a good 8 months, had tons of fun. But I've really only experienced vanilla WoW. I still want to try Cata, hope I'm not disappointed!

Yes! This guy is pretty badass. I went to the SOE Fan Faire for last year and kind of wish Hall was there instead of Brenlo. but aw well.

It was a major inconvinience always seeing the gigantic page on my phone and having to zoom in to ac\tualy get anywhere. Just tried this out and am happy with the changes.

 This game is so painterly and beautiful. 

Version for Macintosh? 

 Really wanted to try this for some time now. I just realized its not mac compatible tho.

 So it went from a 2/10 to a 4/10. I hope those +2 extra points were worth it!

 I feel like I'm looking at Dynasty Warriors Gameplay from the consoles.

 I was waiting on the game to release but over the months totally forgot about it. So seeing it going live today surprised me =).

Yeah, it looks like they're showing old screenshots of the game to show the celebration for the 10 year anniversary.

 Thought I could contribute to this. In EQ, when I played way back when, not sure now, you had DD and bolt spells.  DD spells were Direct damage and would hit the target instantly, having them explode on target. Bolt Spells would fire a magic bolt(which had a visual of a fireball or something) that could be seen flying through the air. The bolt would indeed follow the target BUT if there was a tree or wall or terrain(hill) in the way, it would not make contact. Therefore it WAS dodgeable. 

 That was a joy to watch. Before this I didn't really care too much of the game, but kudos to the producer(s) of the video because now I'm "THAT" much more interested.
