That pretty much sums up what the losing side of a campaign will experience - low numbers and disorganization. Infact youll never have the numbers advantage unless youre winning, makes sense right, since people choose to play or not, the winning side would be more motivated to play and would have more people logging in more often. Having played on each side both on the winning and losing end its exactly the same experience.
Problem is the map is over 2 weeks before it actually ends, meaning one side already knows they're going to loose the map well before its over which leaves for crap gameplay the last weeks or so of a map until its finished. Best thing to do is switch sides and get it over with as quickly as possible and hopefully CRS will do something about these long drawn out torture maps that no one likes except the CRS employee who wants to see the record broke or longest campaign. Consider the end of the map as server down for maintenance and come back when its finished. |

WWII Online is the only mmofps out there right now by the standard definition, Planetside isnt one, its an rpg disguised as one. But id say BF2, OPF, Joint Operations, they are all mmofps by definition too, mmo was just a marketing word used to get you console monkeys playing pc games, to sell you the online multiplayer aspect of PC gaming thats has been around for a long time. You can argue Americas Army and CS are the biggest mmo's given the amount of people who play on all the different servers, arent there servers in wow too? So whats the difference? Sure the number of players playing at once is different, but its different across the board from game to game. So really there are plenty of mmofps out there, BF2, Armed Assault, Americas Army, Joint operation had upto 150 people playing at once, what other mmorpgs let you raid with 150 people? Sitting in a town communication through ui doesnt count, most mmorpgs i play the actual number of people i interact with while in combat is less the a game of BF2.

Defenitaley try it out if youre tired of games like BF2, AA etc. But this game aint easy, if youre a top BF2 or AA player you will still get owned the first time out there, avg players will cry. Graphics suck but after awhile it doesnt matter anyway since the gameplay makes up for it and plus the the fact that this game is huge. Map would take you a day to walk across it all, maybe more. No other game that I know of that has full scale war with planes dogfighting/bomging, tanks rolling into town and infantry fighting all for territory 24/7 on huge map so its defenitately not just another ww2 game. It has its problems but this company is small so thats what you should expect. Only problem with this game is that its just not there yet, it feel its not as good as it could be. Maybe bevause theres no other competition for this type of game, I dunno but I honestly think this could be the best mmofps (for first person shooter fans) out there but it just isnt.. yet.
