Because force classes are popular? And they have to do 2 or 4 .. so that it is balance between the two sides. If they do 3, people will cry bloody murder.

I already figured it was a balance thing, total of 4 gun wielders/4 force wielders, I was just hoping they would get a little bit more creative with them, that's all.

Not really sure here, but this background image doesn't like any of the other concept art on their site www.swtor.com/info/story/setting. It's been there since day one of course, not many people notice it though. Might be an actual ingame shot who knows? Does it mean there will be space? No, but at least it'll give you something else to think about.

I can kinda understand where the OP is coming from on this to be honest.  All you all can do is wait to play it and see whether you like it or not. And yeah, they have taken a bit from SWG NGE, it is intentional. To not admit that is to ignore the truth.

Not the game for me.  This is my 2nd 50 dollar game to be taken off my system in less than 4 days. 

I'd hate to return to WoW and deal with the immaturity just to find people to talk and group with.

 

 

You actually paid for it? lol, welcome to Indie MMOs, where you don't always get what you pay for. Nothing like a nice kick in the pants to get you started.

  As for the social aspect, yeah people aren't as social these days in spacial chat , not since SWG have I actually ran across people worth talking to. Maybe everyone just assumes no one will talk to them and that's why it feels like Silent Bob world.

Prob an internal date for when the product should be ready. Then they need to test it. And rework stuff n test again and so on and so on. I still think its not gonna relase before 2013.

Same here, I've been thinking summer 2010. Before it was known it was TOR, they stated back in 2007 they wanted to get it out the door by 2009. Maybe it's all just meant to confuse us even more. xD

Star Wars: The Old Republic'

Due from Dark Horse in Early 2010

Dark Horse will release the trade paperback collection of the Star Wars:  The Old Republic Webcomic early in 2010, according to Dark Horse’s Jeremy Atkins at Baltimore Comic-Con.  The collection will include the story that has been serialized on the Star Wars:  The Old Republic videogame Website since early this year (see “Dark Horse’s New Star Wars Initiatives”).

The Star Wars:  The Old Republic videogame is due out from BioWare in January.  The game is highly anticipated; the Webcomic has been exposed to millions of readers since its debut in February. 

The trade paperback will be in a traditional comic size. 

The story is by BioWare’s Rob Chestney; art is by Alex Sanche
