Hi all, just wondered how the faction crafting works in FE. For example I have a melee crafter and want to go CHOTA - does this mean that I will only be able to purchase certain recipes from the CHOTA clan?, e.g like armor and weapon recipes. However I won't be able to purchase e.g science and mutation recipes?

Basically I want to know if you have to specialize your crafting depending on your faction at end game?

Hi all, I see that you have to use click and buy if you want to pay for the monthly sub with a debit card and I just wondered how click and buy works, do you need to set up a direct debit for FE?. Also how much do click and buy charge for each transaction?

Can anyone help me who are using click and buy to pay for the game?

Hi there all, I've been thinking of coming back to lotro and I just wanted to ask a few questions:

1- Do the mobs in game still have a huge agro area (it seemed as though even if you were quite far away the buggers would agro)

2- Is the world still littered with mobs so you have to fight your way through every 2 seconds (I know I'm exaggerating here - sorry!)

3. Is there still loads of group quests and areas (the trollshaws and Angmar used to be mainly for groups)

4. Is the combat still slow?

Thats about it really, btw last time I played was before MoM.

HI all, I'm getting a patcher error when I try to launch the game - line:0 - Metadata file 'patcher.dll' could not be found.

I am running a slightly older client could this be the issue?

Ok I think I have found my problem. Ii seems that yesterdays AVG update is causing many people to have this issue. I'm trying to reinstal the latest build as suggested in the forums.

So if anyone else is having this problem I think it's AVG

Hi all, as of yesterday all my games automaticly minimize them-selfs to the taskbar after about 5 mins of playtime. I have done a full spyware and anti virus scan but they both found nothing. Also as far as I can see there is nothing else running when this happens except the game.

I know that I had a windows update yesterday morning, do you think this could be the culprit? - any ideas?

Hi all, I have the oppotunity to purchase a copy of the collectors edition lotro for a decent price and just wondered if the lifetime sub comes with it, or is it just the oppotunity to purchase a lifetime sub with it.

Hi all, I've been playing the FE trial for 2 weeks and then decided to purchase the game as I loved playing. I navigated to the FE accounts page to activate my product key only to be told that if the key was purchased from the site you will need to provide the buyers e-mail address lol.

Well I didn't buy the game from the site and It won't let me get past not putting in a buyers e-mail address lmao. Imho, this is just plain and utter stupidity as people who purchased boxed games or from other sites can't activate the game.

I have contacted there accounts department, however they haven't got back to me yet. I just wanted to warn people who are thinking of getting the game any place else other than the site.

Also I have sinced learned that you need a credit card to play FE, of which I do not have - thus, is there anyway around this issue whereas you can use a debit card?

I love the cheesiness in this game... but not the gameplay.

 

tbh, I dissagree about the whole superhero genre being campy. I know some of it is but most isn't.

I can't think of any mmorpg ones atm - maybe nagafen, EQ2?

i know Resistance 2 isn't a mmorpg, but it has some big buggers in there:)
