APB: Reloaded: Sever Side Lag Solved, Threat Level Revised

Wait a second. Isnt the cisco shown in the picture above also a "hacked' car? Im fairly certain those car parts arent available ingame yet - neither through F2P nor paying for them... |

Originally posted by Tidel I understand your concern/issue with controlling 3 heroes instead of 1, but to be honest, after a day or two of playing it almost became second nature. I found myself creating a set of 3 that was pretty well rounded and worked for the majority of any level we encountered. As you progress you can also unlock the ability to create multiple "squads" of guys, so that should you encounter a set of levels in which your main squad doesnt work, you would still have a backup squad or two that you can utilize. As for your concerns about the community, I unfortunately havent put enough time into the release to give you a good idea of how good/bad that aspect of the game is. If you do decide to pick it up, feel free to add me to your friends list though (ingame name: Decibel) and once APB-R wears enough on me (which may be coming very soon with some of the key issues I have yet to see them address) then you'll likely find me on it playing again :) |

I played the beta and did purchase the retail, however shortly after release I got into APB-Reloaded's closed beta and have been playing that pretty much religiously since. Overall the game is amazingly fun for as simplistic of a gaming model as it is. The customization idea is "nifty" and the gameplay reminds me of a basic dungeon crawler. Im not sure I'd say its worth $50 (the price I paid at retail) however, It will definitely offer you hours of fun.

could give APB-Reloaded a shot. Its F2P, still in beta at the moment, but overall G1 has done a pretty good job at making the game what it should have been originally.

The beta and release of Sierra's "The Realm" (circa. 1996). I'll Never forget that beta as it was my first time beta testing a game and Sierra was kind enough to actually mail each of their beta players a Sierra game of their choosing for participating in it. Man, those were the good old days of beta testing! LOL!! |

As for the PC itself, the difference between a Dual Core and an I5 will be noticeable, the difference between 4gb and 6gb wont be AS noticeable, but for gaming the graphics card is the biggy, get the best one you can find. Especially since you can almost never upgrade it on a laptop unlike a new processor or more ram. |

I played for roughly 2 weeks with the high-hopes that this game was going to be all that the developers promised. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately for me) I realized the error in my ways, and was able to get a refund 1 day prior to "pre-launch" (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean anyways...) |

Fallen Earth is pretty unique...
Since your asking for other ideas, thats another one you may want to look into. |

Well now its official, WoW really is a Themepark MMO.
Wonder how many times folks will have to "grind out" the roller coaster before they can hit endgame content? |

Radar - yes they are, but unfortunately its not getting much hype. Of course it doesn't help that MMORPG.com isnt giving it its own section even - they just keep tagging this under the old Planetside game link instead of doing it justice and giving it is own rightful section amongst the gaming list. |
