I've played enough Trickster on the japanese servers.

Um there is no "dark future" for G&G...they are funded by the Korean Goverment

Nostale HAS NOT BEEN DROPPED...it's been delayed because it had larger issues at hand with the website/client/etc that had nothing to do with SSO...speculating on crap gets ya more crap

and SSO is working on a couple of the games already...RAN Online (a MUCH better english version than E-games load of crap) and DragonGem...DragonGem was a little unstable tho so they pulled it til the tests happening tonight and tomorrow.  If SSO was something that could be scapped at this point without a delay of MONTHS rather than a few days, they probably would have considered it but it's too late now

True, I have some angst in my soul as well for the way EA has treated it's properties over the years (killing several potential next-gen games in favor of 1st gen UO while in the process making UO even dumber than it was to begin with), I can't help but think that this merger (if agreements are kept) might just be a good thing for Mythic when it comes to their pocketbook.  Maybe now they might have enough money to bring Imprator back from cold-storage and make it a game worth their name. WAR, being PvP in a hardcore sense of the word, doesn't really tweak my tassles so having a really good PvE game to back it up and get the other half of the audience would be good thing right now.

Possibly, but one of the two I'm thinking of I know for sure has serious attitude issues when it comes to this game :) If NCSoft excercises any kind of final approval on the contest, it wouldn't surprise me if they boot him from the contest for his previous antics :)

Personally I find it darkly amusing that 2 of the most negative posters I've ever seen on the forums are ones who got in on this contest (strange luck, that)..one of whom got kicked from the main game's forums because of his antagonistic attitude towards the Dev's and continual rants on how much the world hates Aussies (your ancestors were sent there for a reason).

Anyhow, Gratsi on those who did win and here's hopin' on the second draw and now taking bets on how many days some of the winners make it before breaking NDA just because they think they can get away with it :)
