GW is a fluke rather than a flaw...and it's not quite the same as the other MMO's it's compared to so bringing it up as a reason why monthly subs are "wrong" is not appropriate. |

Okay, both sides need to put down the weapons and stop beating on each other...
PvE and PvP really don't mix and that's why we have the animosity...no one is better than the other, get over it.
Now on the subject, Imperator was not being worked on by this team, so asking them to pick it up is pointless. Imperator was put on hold because as they got to some critical milestones they realized the game was not fun. Not that PvE wasn't fun, the game was not fleshed out enough in it's background to make good gameplay. It MAY come back and I wouldn't be surprised if they don't have a very small team kicking it around behind closed doors (you wouldn't believe how may games are being worked on like that). Let WAR be WAR and succeed or fail on it's own. PvP is a "niche" audience and letting them have 2 titles (EvE being the other) won't kill anyone. And WAR still isn't their perfect goal, it's not FFA PvP...they can't be tier 4 and go beat on tier 1 characters..so their gank squads have no utility. |

I almost feel sorry about bursting the bubble here..but I have a pin and it is my responsibility to use it.
Get over it. What you (and many other "hardcore" gamers) call "selling out" is simply healthy economic forces at work. When MMO's started they were created by and catered to people who, bluntly, were obsessive-compulsive, anti-social, (hate to use this word) geeks. As they people grew up and tried to draw other people into their obsession, the people drawn in said "why does it work like that when doing it like this could would be so much easier?" Or "Why must it always be about beating the tar out of each other? Can't we go out on an adventure together and have fun?". These people, feeling disenfranchised by these "l33t" players, went off and created their own games and found out that MANY more people would be turned on by a game that was accessible and fun rather than one designed to punish you for playing (which is the feeling many of the older games gave off). This then was refined until we now have the mass-media called MMO's today. Old-school style MMO's are now "niche" product and all the whining in the world won't change it. |

I see no one is taking the OP seriously :)....reminder guys, this is Disney, they will catch any "cute" names like that in a heartbeat and smack you down like a red-headed stepchild. You won't even be able to free-chat without a subscription and PERMISSION from the chatting party..and even that is going to be heavily censored. |

Originally posted by devastatindthey have more than enough interesting games to keep them going, so I agree...now, realistically and being analytical about it, the reason the CB isn't in Oceania yet is because they do not have a publisher/distributor in the region as of yet as well as the overall translation work and possible mechanics tweaks (such as XP rates and such) will take time. |

Originally posted by nerisActually, I hope none of you Euros win it because your added lag on top of any current server problems will make you horribly poor testers, and since a large majority of the userbase is North American, odds are there will be more of them win than anyone else. BTW, if you check all the contests on here you will notice that people outside the US do win, just not you..so get over it |
