Alganon is a pretty bad excuse to sell some copy-pase game.

It's pretty sad tho that some players are actually desperate enough to play it, and only shows that requirements for a game have sunken to a new low.

I don't play WoW

And yet you assume, assume, assume away...

Why should I play inferior games in the first place? Funny how all these other ppl in games like EQ2 also cried 'its only pets, appearance armor etc' and a few weeks later everybody bought AA pots for runs n stuff. But you'll see yourself :)

Get a clue - it starts with pets and cool looking armor and will end with exp potions and that like, as seen on other games before. Disgusting at best :)

I don't play WoW but I've always been against RMT and im pretty surprised Blizzard hopped on that shitty bandwagon...

this guy is pretty sick ;)

Nice but lenghty review :o)

its an mmo,MMO your supposed to play years in an mmo and your trying very hard to play it all in days lol

it makes me lol when player dont understand your suppoosed to play a long time in the game

grind isnt worst or better then vanilla wow its the same .the only thing bashing this game do is send gamer to the tv screen because theres nothing else ,NOTHING ELSE

wow will be good at cataclysm and most skip wow so they can come back next year and enjoy it instead of feeling burned out

its like theres a conspiracy trying to make sure all mmo fail gees

its the title you see now or tv screen !!

Wtf are you even talking about, did you read his post or are you just rambling some random thread? lol

While paying players should be given better service, it doesn't mean that the free players should get little to none.

Think about it.  I don't know about you, or anyone else, but if I play a game that's "fremium" I want to see that the game is fitting for me.  Several factors come into play.  This includes the ability for customer support to solve problems.  If I have an issue, and contact customer support with no reply for hours, what is drawing me to play?  Obviously I'm not getting any attention as a player, and while that may be fixed for being a paying player, that means that the people who are playing are also having a lot of issues.  Do I also want to play a game with a lot of bugs and holes?  If there are so many support tickets JUST from the paying players that the free players cannot be assisted in any way, that means the game has some problems.

This is especially true for something that can be solved in two simple ways.  1) Create a "I'm stuck command" that alerts in Game GMs that people are having issues, or 2) Create a Return spell to warp back to your save location, or a nearest town.  Every MMO should have one, or both, of these.

At least that's how I see it.

I'm with you there ;D

Seriously, get a new computer and clamp that gameboy your trying to play the game on.

I played EQ2 from launch till a few weeks ago - and aside from their starting problems neither me nor my buddys had any of these problems your mentioning. It's not SOE's fault that you cant handle your computer :D

Hahah, yeah that's pretty poor ... wow with blur effect = new game? ;D

This is bs, why should it cost anything if you want to have your toon look another way? Either give players the option for free or let it be. Thats exactly how it started in eq2, buy some stupid pets that follow you around and stuf flike that - and later the aa / exp pots.

Reason enough for me, not to buy this game tbh.

haha funny :D

Out of curiousity, i played Ryzom for a couple of hours ~4 yrs ago and gfx were kinda ...strange. Did they enhance gfx by chance?

Imo, if you dont have a huge amount of freetime, MMO's aren't for you anyways. At least I stopped playing when I got a new job and work at least 12h/day (like to read about some games when i come home tho).

Anyway if you really looking forward to the game why not be patient and wait a while for the game to settle and iron out some issue's they seem to have, why the hurry to get into the game when you just like me and anyone else can read about the issue's, if it was me looking forward I would definitly wait some more time before getting into that game, but hey thats just me.......

People who are willing to put up with the crap Aventurine has been doing, do so because they really, really want to play the game.  They know the problems that they will encounter and simply do not care.

Ever since I heard about Rockstar working on GTA4 I couln't wait to play it, regardless anyone else his/her view, then the game got released on console first, thought to myself and talked with a few rl friends about how I felt, which was I felt it sucked, anyway even though I am active on several gameforums, never did it cross my mind to start screaming on forums about how I felt, then the game got released on pc, finaly, bought it the day it was released, installed it, yet couldn't play, wel I could but hardly saw 2 feet in front of me, sound where ackward, constant flickering of blocks , first thought was "me needs to upgrade my rig", but Crysis came, and could play that game without any problems, found info seeing more people had similar issue's, so I waited....patiently.....to hear something from Rockstar about patch/update, about 2 weeks after I bought it a new Nvidia driver was released which made the game bareble to me, few day's later Rockstar released a patch and made the game just awesome, yet still didn't goto forums and insulted Rockstar like I saw many do.

you realize thats one freakin long sentence there? ;D

No serious pvper runs xfire....I dont know - I associate the application with solo pve players (WOW, War, LOTRO), a population DF is not intended for...

Humm, I only play on PVP servers in all games... AoC, WoW, EVE, WWII-online...

Guess Im just not has hard, or hard core as I thought...

And yes, if my game is stable with it, I run X-Fire all the time.

And here I thought I was a PVP'r... damn.....

Are you playing Darkfall? If no then of course you are not a PVPer.

More like PVE with pvp-lite mingled in, a carebear with a slingshot -

:)

You realize that you make yourself look like a moron with every post you type? :o)

to make it clear again like in all the other threads about the queue the game is not officialy released yet what you are playing is actually a closed beta so they are stress testing the game which is why they did not open new servers yet!

about the whole ganking system i can only say 1 simple thing be in a clan u can trust and has good teamwork without that u are fucked!

many times i got ganked by some1 from my race, but i always got my revenge and that feeling i never had in a mmo before!

If it would be a beta, they would reset the game world after beta is over. Your argument fails badly :(

Its not really WoW thats going down but I read in a  newspaper that the Internet is laying off 50% of its staff and that will effect everyone !

Some players will cancel their subscriptions to pay bills.

Lol if you can't afford 15$ for your hobby your a loser in rl tbh

This made me lol

Dream on about DF open beta, just wont happen :D

yay kerafyrm was fun back in the day... :D

Thanks to Got Game? for their posting discussing the in-game slaying of Kerafyrm, aka The Sleeper, in PC MMO EverQuest. This event, commemorated with a screenshot on the site of one of the guilds involved, is notable because the players
"...killed what Sony Online Entertainment intended to be unkillable. But rather than actually make it untargetable, Sony just gave it a hundred billion hitpoints. For those non EQers out there a reference scale: a snake has about 10 hitpoints. A dragon has about 100,000. A god has 1-2million."
So, it took
"close to 200 players almost 4 hours to beat the thing down into the ground"
