Eh, shouldn't have to learn to ignore things like that. Developers and Customer Service really need to prevent that sort of thing from happening as best they can so the player wont notice it as much as they do in a game like Aion. Seeing like one or two bots now and then is different from seeing a bot everytime you blink.

If the team is willing and able to combat this issue from the start and not let it grow unattended to become the visual problem that it is, then players will be less apt to complain about it.

Ostrich Syndrome is not something a consumer should learn to use. Burying your head in the sand and pretending its not there will only make a situation get worse as well as let a company become more lazy.

Here is where i have to commend NCSoft for doing something about the bots etc, in Aion, so they banned 16k accounts, im pretty sure their still looking at any bots that are left, or people that look like they might be botts, with a view to future bannings. and fair play to them, as long as players keep reporting suspected bots too, that can only help. CCP also is a company keen on dealing with these players, or none players even, i would say, that its a sign of a companies continued interest in developing/protecting their game, and their playerbase, in continuing operations against RMT's and botters, so even if you dont like Aion, you kind of have to respect them for their efforts. and yeah, you dont have to learn to ignore these things

Show me a video from Funcom where they showed up stuffs , then they weren't able to add them? You can't, because there is no video out there, only texts and/or maybe videos about a guy talking how they want to improve AOC.

But let's take a look at Aion. They showed up a full in-game video of 9 min ( remember, in-game ) and you are saying that they will not be able to add what we all saw in the video on Aion? You are lying yourself boy and if you would follow NcSoft games, especial Lineage 2, you will see what they did with that game when they started to add the Gracia expansions.

Also I am pretty sure that they will do the same with Aion. They will not add everything showed in that video just in one patch. There will be like 3 patches or more patches just like L2.

The first one , I am pretty sure that will be focusing on adding many new quests ( both normal and storyline ) , drop increase, new areas and so on.

Hence, so you know, I am not explaining this to you and only for you, so don't feel important :).

Most of you sucks you know? If they don't ban the bots you are like "OMG THEY DO NOTHING!@!@, I QUIT!@!*****!*@"

If they start banning bots you are like "HM, NO THIS IS JUST PR...." or " THEY WILL EARN MORE MONEY FROM BOTS IF THEY BAn THEM!@!(*@!" or "THIS IS FISHY, PLOX SHOW PROVES" or "(insert here)". But anyway, so you know and as someone has already said , i'd say like 70% from bots are using stolen cc and are "owned" by the gold seller sites. So those bans are good in the long run even if they lose a little money, BUT not as someone said like 1+ mil.

mmorpg has the most : trolls,haters,mind readers, future seekers,"Gods",ANALysts, QQers .. you name it :) from all the MMO sites over the internet.

But in the end you will end up being what you want. Most of us who like Aion will keep playing it, while you will end up like "oh well, what should I do for the next few hours, as I have nothing to play because I QQ alot"

What version of DirectX do you have? 10 I believe? If yes, you need to install 9.0c .

Well, first of, start doing quests in Abyss, it should give you a good feeling knowing that the enemies can attack you at anytime, or you can do that :)

Secondly, watch the timing from Fortress Sieges. I believe is going for like 1 hour, but hell, you will have a good time PvPing or/and also trying to conquer/defend a Fortress.

At your lvl, you will start doing the Abyss lvl 25 Instance, which should go for no more then 1 h, which I find it different then the normal leveling.

Also, you can form a group and start looking for Asmos in Abyss. This is what i often do when I am bored from doing quests.

Beside this, if you still can't having fun, them I am afraid you need to move over. But I would love to hear a game which you can do other and better things then in Aion at your lvl and not only :)

I am 35 Sorc too , and I am enjoying it alot.

It will be here too, you don't have to worry about that. Keep in mind that this will be a 1.5.x patch, so it should arrive sooner then we might though here, in the EU/NA .

NO, you are wrong here. considering the 18 pages of this thread there is definitely an annyoing grind. i do not se 18 pages of a grind related thread in any other game so far.

OP, you do know that you can right click on any name from the chat and block it right?

Also you can create your own channel, and setup whatever you want to see there : PM's, Group, Trades, Etc.

I have edited 2 channels : 1 where it only shows Group text, no other texts or such and one where I can see only PM's and Group Text :)

I didn't played WAR, but I can tell you that Aion PvP is just great, no matter what other peoples say.

Also, I don't really get where is this "grind". Is it true that quests doesn't just show up to you like that. They are located in different camps, where at some camps you can reach through the flight NPC.  I've played from the head-start , meaning I have 14 days without this one( didn't played it yet ) and I am lvl 32. From the total of 14 days, I didn't played like 3 days and in the remaining ones, I can say that I was playing between 3-7 hours, depending on the day. I always have quests to do, no matter what other guys tell you. Is it true that I was in Fire Temple like 10 times for that fucking orange book :) but didn't manage to get it. Still, we never, done the whole instance, because we run directly to the last boss, fighting like 30 mobs till the boss, so we can do it again. So lets say I've manage to do 1 level in Fire Temple, but the rest only from quests ( don't forget the ones from Abyss too ) .

My brother is level 37 and he's playing from 6-8 hours per day, so again, I don't know where is this grind or like someone said : Aion = Lineage 2.5 . No, isn't true and if it was, how in the hell there are people 40+ lvl in 2 weeks, where the level cap is 50?!

Hence, I know OP is just trolling with this topic, like many others, but for the rest of you who just want to try Aion, do it and don't listen to does troll posts.

Heck, I still have queues like 1:30 hours at peek times, so if it was grindy or no "cool" like some say, why there are still queues after 2 weeks? Ok ok, we should see this after the first month right? It will be the same :)

Also , use aionarmory.com for quests and such, and always ask in channel for some help!

TIP: For the gathering quests, just go to the Broker, and buy whatever the NPC quest giver asks . Cheap, fast and good xp ;)

You kinda start a same threat yesterday, why do you open a new one? What do you care? Play the game as I am playing it . Don't mind the reviews, etc. The server are full, so this means people are playing it and the ones who rate it low, are just .. you know who :)

The Abyss quests are pure awesome with alot of XP/Rewards/AB . I just spend some hours to rise my alchemy+gathering skills so I can craft bigger HP/MP/Flying pots as you really need them. So from tomorow, you will see me 80% in Abyss :)

That "freaking" stigma is indeed high in price ( depending on the stigma of course ) because it's hard to get it and also is a very usefull skill in combat. I sold a templar stigma for 250k.

Farmer does not have enough kinah to sell them as now. I receive PM's from different sites but only for powerlevel and cd keys.

They didn't specify any kinah :) They are poor like us !

Now this is what I call FAIR opinion about a game and FAIR reason for why someone is not playing it.

Good luck in DAOC and maybe someday, you will give Aion a second change !
