I god DSL, I have a suspicion that it could be adblock.

EDIT: yup it's adblock, the screenshots must be in some sort of the same directory I blocked.

If I select a came and chose to view it's screenshots in Firefox 2 the images don't show up. BUT if I am reading an article and click on one of the screens there everything shows up.

That is all.

Something worth pointing out here guys.  We have been using this logo since about 2 months before E3 and we have the business cards to prove it (they were passed out in box loads at E3, GDC and other events).  I also have the invoices, concept art, etc dated early 2006.  Our new layout started development over 6 months ago and

Then you have the registrar data for RLMMO.COM:

Registrar: GO DADDY SOFTWARE, INC.
   Whois Server: whois.godaddy.com
   Referral URL: http://registrar.godaddy.com
   Name Server: NS1.SWBELL.NET
   Name Server: NS2.SWBELL.NET
   Status: clientRenewProhibited
   Status: clientTransferProhibited
   Status: clientUpdateProhibited
   Status: clientDeleteProhibited
   Updated Date: 26-sep-2006
   Creation Date: 26-sep-2006
   Expiration Date: 26-sep-2008

That shows that RLMMO.com was registered Sept 2006.  So maybe we should be making claims that they stole our logo design from one of the hundreds of business cards we passed out at E3?  Of course we would not say this because a) the logos are not really that similar and b) that would be ludicrous.

So now if you want to take off your tin foil hats for just a moment, you might want to do the math on that one.  You can also see our new logo in an Oct issue of a couple WWII magazines (which were printed in early Sept) where we ran a promo with WWII Online and decided to use the new logo (I can get the magazine names and issues if you need them after the holidays when I return to my desk).

If you don't like the new design that is 100% ok, we want to hear that - but please don't stoop to the level of acusing us of stealing a logo from another site...especially when you have no backing for such claims (after all as stated above how do you know they did not borrow our ideas since there is more evidence pointing to the fact that our logo existed first).

Since you have the stones to post all this...

 Prove it.

GASP......

Yah, it would have been more fun if they would have told about some bios or some inner workings of Sigil. This is rather generic.

It's becaue Sigil is awesome and Vanguard is awesome and Brad is awesome and Keith's Art is awesome.
As a matter of fact ist's more awesome then a liquid injection of Chuck Norris blood.
As a matter of fact US should make Sigil an official religion.

Wow... I dunno where Chuck Norris came out of >.>

I'm pretty sure they were using it first. This reminds me of SOE "stealing" game mechanics from other games.
Overall, I don't like the new theme. Please go back to the old theme.

Game mechanics cant be copyrighted (but can be patented).

The (mmorpg.com) logo of the letter "O" is different color AND shape (even the seperations are on different places), Rlmmo doesnt have the two seperations in "O" copyrighted so there is nothing but possibly similar.

Yeah, thanks for clearing that up.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA   ... HAHA    ... gag... slurp... hah... heh... ..sigh,  well that was funny.

This is a great article. It relates to the MMOG gameplay and is not tech-infested with charts. I had a fun time reading this article and I hope more like this will come!

Oh no, the functionality of the site is awesome. A definite improvement, no complaints in that area. My biggest problem is the color scheme. The bright blue is way too distracting and makes the site look dated. The bright orange buttons, could definetly be more mellower, but overall the layout and the functionality is great!

In fact, I had to look twice, no, three or four times to figure out if I was at the real deal or one of those wannabe sites. I dislike everything from the logo to the tabs to the colors and fonts used.

I agree. The most frustrating thing is the bright base colors.

In my opinion the bright blue theme that's going on is waaaa-hay to distracting. Maybe if it was just a bit less bright, it would bw nice.

Individuals do benefit from secondary markets, the people that sell and the people that buy. Game companies lose money, because if I buy a character, I don't pay a few months of monthly fees. Also the community as a whole suffers from this. I don't think it has anything to do with the free market system.
