ive played my share of CoX a few times, there are things i dislike, and things i like, i wont say its a bad game by ne means, and how can games that havent even been released yet all of a sudden be deemed "worse" when they havent even launched. and even at launch, ne mmo ive ever played still has some bugs/glitches and so forth that will get ironed out . Champions and DC universe are doing the superhero thing their own way. from what ive seen id hardly call either one worse then heroes/villians. ill be checkin both out upon release.

only gripe i really ever had in CoX is i sort of wished mobs and enemies moved a little, like patrolling, or wandering. instead of always just congregating in a group in a corner lol, but i got over it after they introduced ragdoll like physics as i was to busy being amused by that to care haha.

point i wanna make i dont see how we can deem a game not even out of development as worse then one thats been up and running for years. give the new games time to live that long and see how they develop along the way.

that blows, i havent delt with funcoms cust. service, it never hurts to look into it though

im stil undecided on race, ill have to decide based on what i see after launch at character creation as well as do some readin on the backgrounds.

being that im an alt fiend ill have my hands full,  as ive taken an interest in gladiator, assassin, ranger, and spiritmaster currently.  and mild interest in sorcerer

ive juggled the thought of returning to FFXI to kill time but i still have gripes with the char creation after playin so many others lol. but FFXI is still a possibility, and i also will be checking into Aion and potentially champions online. hoping to hold out until FFXIV is released, which i suspect will be a long time.  ill be checking it out for sure though regardless

brings back memories of FFXI , ah.. props to you for walking away with that hairpin at the end *cheers* i had a somewhat similiar adventure so to speak, me and 2 others or so were out tryin to spot and get us a set of leaping boots to sell, one of us had gone back to town to get something so it was me and one other person split off checkin different spots out. i get lucky and i see lizzy pop, i draw the aggro whilst calling my comrades to come help. of course i also drew a larger crowd as i realized i was doin ok damage against lizzy, but not enough, i was dying. so i started making a run for it draggin lizzy behind me as she piece by piece chewed away at my @ss tryin to head toward my closest ally..

sadly.. my story didnt end as well as yours. but i agree when it comes to NM people dont care. they figure they'll watch u die as u soften it up, then steal the glory for themselves. so i commend you on ur victory on obtaining the hairpin.

on that note ill be keepin tabs on FFXIV as well, hope it turns out well

that just looks like an epic battle setup o.O

with my casual and usually solo adventuring mentality i doubt ill see one of those ne time soon but its still a nice thought knowing something that massive is floatin around the gameworld from time to time.

hmm, honestly ill stick to the way ive always looked at what makes a game worth playing or not worth playing.. gameplay! whether its console or pc. so long as the game is downright fun to play and good enough to hold my interest each month. ill play it, who cares if it has cutting edge next gen graphics where u can see sweat pores on ur character.. jeez, 

its not worth the money if its not  cutting edge next gen? pls, lame

id say either defrag or check vid card drivers perhaps, i havent been in vanguard in awhile so its hard to say. i was able to run it near or around full max depending on the area i was in, stayin away from crowded cities as much as possibleas well lol. if its still being laggy for you dunno f you using alot of UI mods or whatnot but u could attempt as a last resort maybe unistall/reinstall.. BUT dont quote me on that, i honestly have no idea if it'll work. before goin to that extreme id say just try tweaking ur settings and so forth.

im fine with 1 character with the option of switching up jobs and lvling them taht way. what i would LOVE to see in FFXIV is an enchanced char creation system. i dont mean it needs to be insanely indepth with sliders for virtually every aspect of ur appearence. something minor, like skin tone options.  that's all, was the only real beef i had with FFXI.. well maybe a lil more solo friendly compared to FFXI as well.

o.o woops forgot to include my cpu in that. got an amd dual core.  the 4800 one.

but man im  even more hyper about this game then if i can enjoy that nice artstyle and graphical eyecandy of aion  with boosted settings. that collector edition is gonna be reserved before the end of this week.

really does sound like the engine being used in Aion allows for great smooth gameplay without NEEDing a powerhouse machine.

so would i be safe to assume that with my rig ill be quite pleased when i play aion at release.
