compared to the destruction side which look bad ass esp orcs and goblins or whatever

 

maybe the dwarves are passable but the humans and high elves are hideous! the white lion class doesn't look cool at all. 

 

blizzard seems to have better art designs.... night elves look fuckin tite

actually im new to the genre, mostly a console gamer

but i do know about rts games....

so the strategy is like a rts game if i can use this analogy,  2 grunts going at it in warcraft 3, usually whoever hits first is gonna win... theres no strat there

but in an army u chose who to go after, who falls back, healing ect...

so the strat in this game is alike a giant rts game?

one more thing, i dont mind that its not as player skill base as say zelda or god of war, but for the love of god why couldn't they thow in a block, it would add tons to this game.  im sure it wouldn't blow up the servers if they did that...

meaning is it one of those point and click mmos that people hate so much?

if it is.... can someone tell me how actual player skill is involved when fighting

is there more to the tactics then just clicking on the enemy???

and can u manually dodge block parry attacks and arrows??

i dont know to much about the warhammer universe but on the games workshop site they had some cool races that aint in the game..

like wood elves and vampire counts...

maybe in an expansion???

and mmo's want to play like console game meaning: hit u get knocked backed combo, evade blocking... like zelda and the like but its a lag issue..

 

i guess im not talkin too much about skill more about defending.

im not a big fan of taking turns hiting till one dies..... like most mmo's

so the skill in this game is basically stoping someons animation with a spell.... and u only have 8 at a time, and can't change during battle?  how the hell u suppose to know what to choose if u dont know what they got?

i can understand how 2 range fighters can use some kinda skill... what about the melee classes if they went toe to toe? how is skill invloved in that?

im not trolling im just getting info, and genuwinely dissapointed is all....

look i bought the game, i might reinstall it... im just bitter that the devs compared the reflex skills to be the same as counter strike, which is a dam lie.... i call fraud!!

maybe guildwars 2 will change that... but then again diablo 3 will probably be better.. theyre both free might ass well get both

 

and one more thing, would it hurt to impliment a real block system??? i'd like to have some options if im getting hit instead of just sitting there taking it.. the game is instanced for god sakes they should have put it in some how

i like the turn base aspect of it. i like the cutesy graphics even tho its severly outdated... and the turn base is quite outdated... they should have least upgraded to like eternal sonata gameplay where u can actually block!

limiting to 8 skills sucks balls....

dodging range attacks is not that much of  player skill.  i dont see how this is that competitive...  it seems whoever picks the better skills will win,

stop saying its skill base as if this is a fighting game, now thats serious skill, this is just another rpg sitting duck point and click game,

and another thing, i remember when guild wars first came out and they talked about its competitve aspect of the game, they actually compared the player skills to counter strike skills! which is rediculous.......  this isn't a skill base game people... i guess i have to keep waiting till a perfect game comes out
