Is there any way I can get a trial if I've done one in the past? I have a better computer and more patience these days. The first time around I never really gave the game a chance, but now I'm craving something this style. I've been playing Red Orchestra and having flashbacks from when I still enjoyed Planetside. I've also only got the one credit card so I can't just do a trial on a new account. Couple gameplay questions aswell: As a tanker how are views done? Red Orchestra lets you switch between looking through the slit or popped out the hatch, where you have a restrictive view from the slit but are vulnerable. Do they have something like this in WW2O or do they just have 3rd person view and such? Also for tanks, does it require multiple crew? How spread out do the players tend to be as far as tankers to pilots to infantry? Are there too many or too few in any one of them? I too like to play the less tread path like one of the others in this thread.

Free trials that don't require a credit card is a recent phenomenon. EVE was probably the only game I did a trial for that didn't require one till a couple years ago. You are warned before you put in your info that you'll be charged, its you're fault for not doing it on time. |

Well I got a beta invite, but I'm not sure if its worth the trouble. I got all but about 120 megs of around 8 gigs of the game after something like 16 hours, and then they remove those files and put up the game sliced into smaller .bins so I have no way of getting the last bit of it. |

I wonder how hard it is to get an internship. Doesn't sound all that difficult on the White Wolf site, and I'm about 10 miles away from there. I wonder when fall starts for "Internships in the MMO department will start to be solicited in late Fall of 2007." Course, I'd love to work in the tabletop department too. |

I find that while I can still find enjoyment in MMOs since theres a group that I keep moving from game to game with, I cant find an MMO I dont get tired of quickly. Part of the problem is I have this idea of a perfect MMO thats too different from anything out on the market or in production. First of all, I like action RPGs (I'd probably have played through Fable: LC another 5 times if I hadnt lent it to a friend) and dont like unrealistic RPG systems. I really want a game thats a sci-fi/cyberpunk/modern arcana FPSRPG where the system behind the curtain works more like White Wolf's Storyteller System than D&D. Problems arise in that type of system though, since people seem to not like the idea of having a new player still be able to get lucky and sneak up behind a high level player to one hit kill him with a knife. I imagine a game where character progression isnt as important/time consuming as a normal MMO, and perma death is possible if a person doesnt have a way to come back (a clone for example). In other words, people are more expendable. Woudnt really appeal to those who enjoy showing off their dominance via ganking and such, but may appeal more to action gamers. |

I generally get bored of them after I realize that for the most part you either button mash and always win, button mash and always lose, or have to figure out combos that they dont tell you how to do in the game itself. Having really bad short term memory I can never remember more then the most simple combos anyway. I did have a little fun with Soul Caliber 2 (PS2 if it was at my house, Gamecube at anyone elses, I think I might have played it on the Xbox once) untill my friends got so much better then me it wasnt fun to fight them anymore. Then again, that might be because I'm out of practice. For some reason I took a liking to Guilty Gear XX2 or something like that on the PS2 since I could actualy remember the combos (no idea why though.) I didnt like GG Isuka much, but I think I was ill when I rented the game so I had no coordination. |

I played the first few days because of the whole 2 day head start for preorders even if you dont have your box thing, and it didnt lag at all... Only time it lagged for me was in popular spots during beta and during the events. Now I dont play though because I only got in through a free preorder box. |

I'd just like to say that this really isnt much worse then any other MMORPG on the market... people say "OMFG this suxxors cuz its repetative" and in my opinion it has the least repetative gameplay of any MMORPG Ive played. |

Well I've been thinking about getting Station Access... I currently subscribe to Planetside and I have a copy of MxO and a preorder/beta account. Also thinking about getting EQ2 since Ive found it less then $20 new before. I know all the SoE games have major problems because of their poor management but being 15 with too many hobbies and no way to make money besides my $10 a week allowance this may be a good option for me. Any input on this?
DAoC - Having lots of classes is nice, 24/7 arguing about why they all suck is not. Also it seems like the whole game is a level grind to get to RvR. Shadowbane - I liked some of the interesting features (like the character creation system) but the graphics and gameplay lost my interest. WoW - do I need an excuse? EVE Online - I liked it but I didnt... I mean its a good game but it feels like a single player game with chat. Second Life - Stuck on the teen grid, not too much fun. The Saga of Ryzom - I actualy liked this game alot but the conflict is $30 and $15 a month for Ryzom or $20 (for EQ2) and $21 a month for Planetside, EQ2, and MxO.

I only wish it was a true mod maker, Itd be awesome if you could make and host your own unique MMORPG rather then just add content to the world. |

I'm a bit confused... I'm getting incredibly conflicting views on this. Half the user reviews from various are from morons who type with their ass so I ignore them as usual. But with this game a good portion of the well done reviews say Jedi are everywhere and too easy to become and a good portion of them say theres alot of them but their not overpopulated because it takes 6 months to become one... Anyone mind clearing this up in a non-"ur te suq" style response? |

Eh... Not true... Theres more then one mod... Really the issue is the Hot Coffee mod removes a code wall probably put in at the last moment since removing the content would likely cause bugs while the Sims/2 mods remove the blur and change a skin. |

I don't see why preorder people are upset... I mean I've seen stuff on EB Games with a release date that hasnt been announced yet. They are making the game, they do what they want. And like they said, the delay is to add stuff not because the game needs work. |
