I quit Rohan Online because the grind was already apparent at a low level (max is 100)

At my high 20's I was already spending close to 2 hours a level grinding very efficiently with a party at a dungeon, on mobs several levels higher than us.

I don't mind grinding but if you're leveling at a slow pace already at only 1/4th the cap, then there is something wrong here.  Not to mention, the end game was not worth the grind as well.

If you're into those types of games, you might like Navy Field.

Same concept except you have ships instead of tanks ^_^

If you like to raid just stick with WoW.  No MMORPG today can compete with it's population and raids.

WAR is around the corner if you're into RvR.  And if you have nowhere else to go and just want to frag some people casually, Combat Arms should do the trick.

Runescape and Luminary are MMORPG noob friendly.

If you want to take it a step further just wait for Warhammer Online ^_^

From my experience, there are very few F2P communities that are mature.  If you're looking for a mature community try EVE Online, but it is P2P.

Otherwise I would recommend Combat Arms just because it's a casual FPS', has nice graphics, and is F2P or Navy Field just because of it's community.  If you're into the WW II stuff also and like ships that's a big +

Try Luminary from Ijji games ^_^

If that doesn't work out, just stick to FPS' like CoD 4 or Combat Arms until Aion comes out.

If you're tired of the typical .0001% per kill grind in MMORPGs I suggest just moving on to FPS'.  No battle will be the same and there are always new challenges and opponents to test your skill on a even playing field.

Combat Arms is a good F2P one and CoD 4 is another one but B2P.

Try Rohan Online.

Questing is an option for leveling but it's not the preferred option.  To level efficiently partying with other players in areas or dungeons is preferred.  There is also PvP but you have to reach level 30 first, so there is some protection for new players.

Try Air Rivals.

It's like playing Starfox but in a MMORPG format ^_^

Assuming you have tried EVE Online and AoC already I can only recommend waiting for WAR to release early this September.

Also there is a game called Aion that is suppose to be released in NA around early next year so you could check that game out as well.  It does fit the characteristics of a asian MMORPG in graphics and representation but the game promises to reduce the repetitive grind and introduce different game mechanics and features.

Yup.

I would definately go with Mabinogi, based on the features you gave us.

Rappelz and Rohan Online are both F2P games and require a lot of grinding at higher levels.

All three have good graphics also.  There are a lot more like SRO and 2Moons but I've heard bad things about those games (full of bots) so it would be best to avoid them.

I would recommend either Runescape or Mabinogi.

You might like Rome Total War or Medieval Total War 2.

They're not MMORPGs but they do fit the type of game genre you're interested in

Rohan is a good F2P MMORPG and here are a few pointers to keep in mind.

Support

- Great GM support

- Decent community, a few bad apples of course.

-Alright graphics, though not better than Rappelz in my opinion.  I can max the settings on a P4 3.0 ghz, 2 GB RAM, and X850 Pro.

Gameplay

- Drop rate is low

- Forging uniques has about a 20-30% success rate.

- The grind begins early.  For example partying and leveling on mobs 5-10 levels above us, I only gain .2 a kill from 27-28.  It takes me about an hour and a half to 2 hours to level.  There are 99 levels in this game.

- Classes so far appear to be balanced in PVE.

 -----

I say give the game a try if you're not playing any game currently.  You can definately reach at least 25 in a few days if you quest and party effectively and by then you should have somewhat of an idea of what to expect from the game.

Rohan Online by far for me: http://www.playrohan.com/?page=home. It'll be my temporary game until Aion is released hehe.

This game was great when it first came out, despite the lag and grind. But with the shear amount of botters in the game now a days, the game is heading downhill very fast.

Speaking of immaturity, you know your post is somewhat immature as well -_- Anyways, what do you expect from WoW? It is the most popular MMORPG today in the world. With that popularity comes ordinary people and idiots from around the world as well. There's just bound to be some of them in that crowd of 10 million players. My suggestion is to join a more mature guild, there's bound to be a few on your server. If not, then a server transfer wouldn't hurt if the immaturity level is bothering you too much.
