UO2/UXO, both cancellations broke my heart.

How's the UI and character movement?  I came back to AO a while back after playing WoW a long time, and was shocked how clunky AO's movement interface was.  Perhaps Funcom's fixed that the past few years?

What are the froobs missing out on by not paying?

I've been waiting for this news for a long time.  If the avatars also get an upgrade, I'm so coming back.

I'm a bit concerned about the lag.  There were quite a few lag spikes in the video, and I'm assuming that the game was being demonstrated on a pretty high end machine.  How's it going to play on my middle of the road machine?

Has nothing to do with Mythic's lack of imagination.

It's based on Warhammer lore from Games Workshop -- a lore which has pleased many, many thousands of players for over two decades.

I'm not a WoW'er, I'm a UO'er.  But that WoW map at least is imaginative.  SO is UO's map. 

And why are you all rushing to defend Mythic?   I'm not attacking Mythic.  I'm attacking whoever was dull enough to create that WAR map.  Jeez, the WAR fanbois are already out on the attack.  I'll paraphrase Hamlet when he said: "Methinks the lady doth protest too much."

It's simple:

Fury=zero content.  It's just a virtual space for  teenagers to measure their epeens.

It's about as bad as online games get.

Another Asian MMO?  No thanks.  I haven't played a SINGLE Asian MMO that was fun.

They're all grinds.  All their men look like women.  They all focus on some mystical power in the universe (gaia?) which is used so nonsensically that even the devs are confused by the stories surrounding it.

I've not ONCE been disconnected from Orion, and never experienced server-side lag (I've had a bit client-side, but that's my RAM problem).

Stop blaming NCSoft and fix your end of the formula.  Their servers are fine.

L2 is an Asian game, TR a Western one.

I'll take a Western MMORPG over an Asian one every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

'Nuff said.

A PvP system where AFS fight AFS is one that simply won't last.  There's not enough story to propel that system.

Now, if they add the Bane as a playable race in a future expansion (like CoV), THEN you have yourself a kick-ass game/PvP system.

It may just be a game to you, but to them it's a business.  And they're running their business poorly.

Just go ahead and keep lowering your standards, folks.  You get what you deserve.
