Alot off ppl have misstyped registration. I did it myself, there is some figures which looks very mch alike, G and 6 for example. The thing is, u dont get a "Wrong Registration" warning after you executed it. It looks like everything is a-ok, but u cant start the patcher. Then  when you open your email u suddenly find a mail, telling you that u need to re-register.

So -tldr, check mail...

If that didnt do it then check  :\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\logs and open the debug log. Copy paste it and mail it to Mythic...

 I got the mail:

"Your Code has been correctly registered. It also gives you access to the following components which have been activated:

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
1 month - WAR
Collector's Edition exclusive in-game items

The WAR Team"

So the last option I will do is to send them the debug log.

I had that error, the files you need to worry about:

a] patch.cfg

b] warpatcher.exe

Make sure your client is not a US version of the BETA or US Retail [both is downloadable from various sites], you won't be able to login with them with a EU key.

Your patch.cfg should look like this:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<PatchConfig>
<Config>
<ResourceModules>
<Module name="http" />
<Module name="login">
<PreAuth />
</Module>
</ResourceModules>
<PatcherProduct>
<Product name="EAMythic Patcher" description="EAMythic Patcher" prodfile="patcher-goa.prod">
<manifestrepos>
<repo url="http://patcher.war-europe.com/patch/patcher/manifest/" />
</manifestrepos>
</Product>
</PatcherProduct>
<MainProduct>
<Product name="Warhammer European Release" description="Warhammer European Client" prodfile="war-goa.prod">
<manifestrepos>
<repo url="http://patcher.war-europe.com/patch/warhammer/manifest/" />
</manifestrepos>
</Product>
</MainProduct>
</Config>
</PatchConfig>

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you see anything in your patch.cfg related to "warhammer-beta.prod" etc, then you should try to get a new warpatcher.exe and patch.cfg [yes both] or the EU retail client  (from a EU player that's getting in).

I've had endless issues because i had the US Open Beta client , while i'm a EU retail player.

My patch.cfg looks the same as above.  I start to think my Game DVD discs are broken and the game does not install correct. I did uninstalled windows xp servicepack 3 but still same problem. However, the good thing is my pc are more stable and my programs working normal without sp3 ;)

Anyway, thank you guys for the replies.

Do you have the same problem as me?

I get this:

Cant pacth

Warhammer Online CE GOA Europe

I can't start the game at all so I dont know the performance, sorry!

However, I have no problem with:

Lord's of the rings online, Age of Conan, World of Warcraft , EVE Online, Everquest II, Pirates of the Burning Sea, Saga of Ryzom

Is this a common problem?

Whem I click the warhammer online start icon I get the following window:

"The patch client was unable to retrive the file [patcher-goa.prod.sig] from the patch server. Please try the patch operation again in a short while."

When I click on the war.exe and start the game I got :

"Authentication failed- application will now terminate"

I have open the ports for my firewal and  tried with no firewall but no luck. and reinstalled the game. The Pachserver are up.

Intel Pentium 4, 3200 MHz,
2000MB RAM,
Nvida GeForce 7600GT,
Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme
Windows xp, servicepack 3

 It has a flash login [top left corner] that seems to be greyed out. So i can't login to manage my account or anything!

 I used the "Codes" part to activate my keys and i DID receive a confirmation email.

 So now i'm stuck, when running the patcher i get authentication error , so can't login there. Can't login to the website .

Same for me . I have used IExplorer, Firefox and Opera but same resul as follow:  "It has a flash login [top left corner] that seems to be greyed out. So i can't login to manage my account or anything! "

I will definitely  not subscribe to AoC when I read this.

"We dont want you"

Age of Conan game director Gaute Godager said at the launch event in Norway that reaching level 80 will take "on average 250 hours of gameplay," according to videogamer.com.

Funcom blocked the AoC forums from the public.  Post there.

So? Sony did this as well shortly after SWG went live.  Why shouldn't they? That way they can pay attention to REAL issues that REAL PAYING customers are having. Not reading all the pointless troll posts of ppl who hate the game yet they don't even play it but have so much bad to say about it.

I think they could at least make the AoC forums read-only. If it is blocked a prospective buyer can't weigh the pros and concerns.

Why fail?

I dont play AoC but I don't understand why some people want this game to fail. For every game that succeed , we have more games to play and choose from.

Just a thought !

Yes!

I did felt quite  immersed in the story and the environment from the start. However, I don't know if I will buy a new computer just for AoC.

As far as the botting, please I was there before CU also and thats a load. AFK and botting / macroing (whatever you want to call it) professions was always at every point in this games history, an issue.

The good old days of people grinding out profession after profession in less then a few days so they could unlock jedi....it was pathetic.

I agree, thats why I left SWG at that time.
