I remember back in 2005 when I first started to play WoW. I made a night elf character and absolutely LOVED the starting area. It led to me buying the game and playing it for the first 30 months free. I then quit. I started to listen to everyone that thought they were hardcore and quit wow. I was now in the frame of mind that Vanguard and Hard MMO's were the true ones; and WoW was just a joke. I wish I could go back and change that. I wish I didn't quit WoW when I did. But now I'm back in the game and absolutely loving it. I don't need a game that is so tedious and boring to play, I don't have the patience or time anymore for that game like I used to. WoW caters to people like me. And for that I love WoW. Plus, no other MMO could I get my girl to play, but she will play WoW. . .and out do me. WoW, honestly, is the best game on the MMO market and will be for a long time. WHo ever was like me and think WoW is a plauge to MMO, go and see where MMO's were headed before WoW released. |

I was looking at some pictures of the legacy version, they do look pretty impressive. Same old art style with updated graphics. This should have been put in years ago. |

WoW is getting their money. There will be no wow killer in the near future, so I think what WoW needs is a good contender. Someone that threatens them a bit, therefore Blizzard will maybe start thinking a bit outside of the box.
WoW just needs a contender. |

As long as the women are topless and not doing sexual thing with their toplessness (at least not seen) then the game will get a 'Mature' rating. Conan has breast in the game, so you can expect AoC to have the same.
**edit**
Question, maybe someone will answer this. Ok, say that they do restrict the AoC version in US only (gore, blood, nudity, whatever....) would it be possible for a US player to purchase the game through a UK online store and play the game in US servers with a UK game? |

I don't know if any of you TR fans know this, but along with the girl from AoC; Sarah Morrison (red head girl) from Tabula Rasa has also been featured in the December 2007 Playboy. very well done. |

It looks like the owners of Bethesda Software, ZeniMax Media, has bought the domain name ELDERSCROLLSONLINE.COM. It would be really interesting to see a story enriched game, like Elder Scrolls to do something similar to MMO or even Multiplayer. To be honest, I would hope they would do a Diablo style Multiplayer where you can help each other out on stories, etc.... MMO would take away from the great story that tES has always had, but it is welcoming. How do you guys feel about this? I think some of the people in here are getting a little out of hand with the whole "WAR will flop" comments. Honestly, WAR is too big to flop. It is going strong and has MILLIONS of people eager to play it. It's just like any Valve game, release date get pushed back, and back and back, but in the end you have a high quality extremely well made game that you can enjoy. Plus, most companies eyes have been opened up since the whole vanguard. And what company wants to do buisness like SOE? I think EAmythic is making a smart move and I'm sure it will show in the end. |

I know how Vanguard runs on my system, because I was playing during beta. But I havn't played since. SO I'm sure it runs better. What I think you should do, honestly, is wait for a free trial to come out. Alot of people are saying we will get one before the years end. . .and we are already in November. So my advice would to wait until the free trial before blowing your money on a game that isn't running how you would like it, whether it's 15fps or 5fps. That's just my advice because money is important to me. If there isn't a free trial before the end of the year and your still dieing to try it. . .then go ahead. But from what I hear VG will be getting one shortly. Which they should. Just my .02 cents. |

You know, it's really hard for me to say something has been done better than Ultima ONline. I used to LOVE UO housing. But it got rediculas at times with houses almost stacked up on each other. In all honesty I think LOTRO sounds like they did it right. Seriously, this housing sounds soooo much better than UO and WAY better than EQ2. Instanced neighborhood. . .now that ingenious. I'm still waiting for WoW to do this, I still don't understand why they don't do this. Housing just adds so much more depth to a game. I never really played LOTRO, I've played in the beta. While I thought the game was alright, I never found a reason to unsubscribe from WoW to play lotro. But now I might have to try it out. As long as it's not as retarded and rediculas as Vanguard house prices, then I'll be fine. You give me a game with housing done correctly and I'll give you my money. Housing makes me want to log into my game, decorate, live, and have parties in my house. At least I don't have to quest or grind. 11 / 10 for Turbine on this one. |

There is no reason to get excited yet guys. Your just going to have your bubbles busted if you think like this. As far as we know it's just a "interactive entertainment product. .. ground breaking" at that. How would a new MMO be groundbreaking?
My guess this is a bit further than a game. |

I'm starting to wonder now. After seeing the whole "Groundbreaking Interactive entertainment product," is it really a MMO or even a game? What if they are doing something totally new? Like their own console? or something just totally bonkers? Seriously, if it was to be a MMO, or even a game. . .why didn't they say that instead of interactive entertainment? I wouldn't put your money on KOTOR 3 or MMO. |

I would like to say blizzard, but I doubt it will be them. In all honesty, I don't think it will be WAR or AoC. The next true gen MMO will be a mmo that falls away from the standard MMO. Meaning, no more item/loot hungry games. Bring back the UO type with new graphics and add your own twist in there. Then you have an original game. |
