I honestly did not expect this at all!! this came as a  huge surprise to me! this is big news.

At least for people who have been with funcom for a long time since ao. Craig's involvement will definitely change the game for the better.

I really don't understand the why some of  you guys say its to late for  the game. now I refuse to believe that. they do still have time to make this game better, for a lot of people. and Im sure people will come back if they fix the problems and add the continent people want. so Godager  resigning from aoc is  a good thing, the game needs new fresh eyes on the project and moved things for the better.

HI all when I first heard of this game I was so much looking forward to it I liked the art style also but When i actually started to  play.

I Just didn't like the feel of the city at all like many have said the game feels to confined very small world,  at least in the begging and why in the hell did they pick the Eberron setting I have no freaking clue out of all the d&d settings! hopfully one day we will get a really awseome d&d mmo in a better setting.

HI all just wanted to say that I played many mmorpgs and I have noticed even since  I got a wireless g card I have been getting lag in every game I play.

When I'm hard wired with a cat3 network cable I'm fine so you might want to check out the router or wireless card. or just hook it up directly to the modem or router.

There has to be invisible walls the that's were the zone ends I do agree they should cover it up with a mountain or something in anarchy online they have theses sort of invisible walls were go on too the next zone as far as I can tell aoc is just like anarchy online just a more advance version. its not a big deal to me as long as the zones are big enough but that is just a limit of the system it isnt to me like they really want walls its just very hard not having something like that.

There was one not sure if its still there havent played for long time the shadowlands world is very dirffent then the normal world in ao.

Wow!! I remember that game I was really looking forward to it too! sucks it was dropped,  but aoc took over that one, I also have been waiting for secret world, for awhile now, so that one is interesting, but I do have to wonder, how Midgard would have been like.

DrBadlove, the only one that can truly answer that question is you but the game does have repetition like most mmos regarding some of the missions only the biggest con to me about coh.

I really love the game and the combat is fast and fun the character creator alone  will have you spend countless of days and hours with making your characters truly different you might hate the game or you might for in love with it the only way is to dig in and play it.

lol it depends were you are! at the right place at the right time I never really had any issuses with anybody in teams I joined up with, sometimes you can get some really strange people playing and of course you get some bad days so yes to your question.

Like the other guys here suggested the most popular are freedom virtue  I personally play on freedom virtue and victory.

I too was really hoping for this game to be good after waiting so long for it but like always I just couldnt get into this game as some of you pointed out it got exremly boring I dont mean to be harsh there wil be other people who will like it but Im gonna pass on this one.

Good choice there JK-Kanosi  but please make sure you have a power supply that can support that video if not  you will not be able to run anything at all so make sure you have a desent power supply to run it, also your cpu might bottleneck the video card depeding on what you have but so far it looks good wish I could get the evga 8800gts :) good luck .

I still think Vanguard is great. I think Soe will do lots of good for the game. The fact that the Sigil team has been disbanded does not bother me. Lets remember this is the same team that failed to smoothly launch a mmo after 5+ years of developlement AND 30 million dollars. I say...good riddence then. Besides..It was my understanding that they are still Sigil devs...just cut the team in half from 100 to 50...maybe mixing in a few SoE staffers as well. I dunno...don't really care either. Life is too short to give a shit about such drama. Play the game..if you like it...cool...if not...cool..play something else then.

This is indeed very sad news to me I'm not a huge fan but I do enjoy watching star trek from time to time mostly the old show, this has got to be in my opinion the most stupidest Idea they ever did ! that's just freaking stupid, they are honestly taken the easy way out when it  comes to development, I mean that's one of the biggest points to the game, being able to board into the ship having your own room for role-players and having some functions at the ship, engine room etc etc.

Have some enemy's pop up breaking threw the cargo door and trying to destroy your ship etc etc why wouldn't you want to be the best mmo out there ! I really just don't get it man what the hell are they thinking ? look don't get me wrong I really mmos if not I wouldn't be here, and  I wish the best of luck to all theses games coming out,  but come on have some innovative game play and avatars ships,  if you want to be one of the best mmos out there dammit ! but anyways lets see how it ends up when everybody gets to try it Im just so dissapointed. :(

Why isn't this game more successful?  one of the biggest reasons is,  just like vanguard, the system requirements, for the game. most people, do not have that kind of power, on there p.cs to run theses games,  that's one of the reasons I believe that made wow, so popular, was the fact that you didn't have to have, this good video card or that good amount of  memory to run it.

I really do enjoy everquest 2 it of course has a lot of pros and cons, but so does every other game out there, and to me its not about being everquest, its just a name if you don't know how the game is, then just give it a shot ! and try the free trial,  you might like it or you might not, they are adding a lot to the game, as time passes on, but I do feel the dev team is gonna get some, major pressure when Conan or aion and some of the other  mmos come out soon, and they wil need to add  some seriously  innovative things in the game to keep up with them and even try to surpass them.

I have to agree with jmoree, I just resub just yestday the game is really great its just lacking on armor and character customization I did here that they would be upgrading the characters so it would be easyer for them to create new armor take a look at theses links below from the eq2 boards.
