FINALLY!!! A game I can play WITHOUT having to have a group of morons glued to my hip! I hate playing games that force you to go in groups in order to level or beat a mob. Especially since most of these games have nothing but children or bratty teenagers taking over and ruining the game. |

I tried this game before they tried going p2p and to be honest, it disgusted me. I don't have any motivation to ever come back to Archlord since it's become one giant ganking war.
I'll stick to playing Perfect World and soon play Aion. |

nomad, if you go to play 9 dragons, then play the UK version. Its better than the US version. The US version absolutely sucks in design, lag, community, and gaming activity. |

If you want to give these people a full concept of the game and company, then list both pros AND cons SpikeX, not just all the things you like about it. Give them some of both sides.
I'll just stick to playing Khan Power and 12 Sky. |

After looking at the site and reading around, I see a few things that make me uneasy.
Gaming appearance reminds me of a mix between Rappelz and Supreme Destiny. I see alot of people saying the company staff is very small and only work office hours so when the game goes down at night, you're without a game until atleast the next day. I also see alot of people complaining about the poor design of the mages and how heal and buff spells have horrible cooldown time and makes the spells useless for parties. Seems that when the exp and drop events are not going on, the drop rate is pretty crappy. I also saw that some people are ruining the pvp aspect of the game which is a bad thing to see in any game. Not to mention the forum mods are not near as professional as mods in other games.
Yes you can upgrade items pretty easily and you can have horses which do help. You can mine and fish, though fishing is just completely frustrating. They do have an idea of giving quests on a pretty good regular basis, but if you can't use a horse yet, it takes forever to run from land to land to where you need to go for them. Overall it's just another grinder with a few more quests. |

hi, thanks for trying but that isn't it. i've played dark eden. the game i'm searching for was more like Gunz International but underground with 3rd person camera view vampires, not overhead god camera. thank you anyways. if anyone remembers this game i'm describing, let me know please. ingame appearance looked more like Legacy of Kain styled graphics if that helps. |

Can anyone help me remember what the name of a game was that I used to play? It was vampire characters and it was strictly pvp arena style game. the walls and floor were blood red and underground. there was a main fight room and then hallways that you could run through to kill mobs to get better weapons and health pots. I thought it was Bloodlust but I don't think that's it after I saw the screenshots of it. Did any of you ever play this game and can help me remember what the name of it was?

Ciredric, This is a technical issue with your system...not the game. You have a major system conflict. I know you whined about having the most recent drivers but you do need to go back and REDO your graphic card updates and driver updates. If your system is getting all buggy from a tiny 420MB program, then your system has some SERIOUS problems. Let me guess, you're using Intel or ATI Radeon??? I don't expect you to answer that question with honesty, but don't go blaming the game for your system's problems.
PS. What antivirus protection are you running in the background while playing mmos??? I don't expect honesty on this answer either because anyone with half a mind knows that certain antivirus proctection programs cause issues with some online games reguardless of a firewall on or off. Plus the fact that you should know what graphic chipsets are horrible for gaming but I guess you will find out on your own cuz you won't find any help here. |

Its funny to find out why those other people whine and bitch.
1. they were banned because of their behavior, language, and violating the game rules 2. they hated a game that they couldn't pk gank other players or rip them off with trade hacks 3. they couldn't killsteal, dominate a pve area to piss other players off 4. they only play a couple hours and didn't bother reading that the game is continually changing with new things always added in and that there is a huge list of impliments coming to the game. they want right here right now games. 5. people that whine about this game and then you find out what games they DO love playing...bot filled games...games that they can easily hack in...just like one of these guys is an avid Silkroad player...which tells us exactly what type of player they are hahaha. Overall, Stephen and MarkT said, they are not wanting to please everyone...they want to keep the big mouth little babies like these people out and it looks like they're doing a great job at it. lmfao |

hmm. 2 characters...which if you honestly knew the game, then you would know that you pick a gender and then because the game is a classless unrestricted interface, your man or woman can be built ANY WAY YOU WANT. You have no restrictions as to who can or can't wear armor, or weild certain weapons, or only use certain skills. You can make your character without limits. Your whine about only 2 characters was a "Homer Simpson" - doh - on your part.
There is no change in the size of your inventory whether you are a paying member or a free member. There is no item mall to buy from. There are also NO personal shops to crowd and lag out the town and dungeon lobbies like in all the other online games for fantasy. The game was made silly looking and cartoony on purpose. NPC's tell you to get bent, or they yell at you because you waste too much time coming back to them to buy pots. The names of items are made to make you laugh such as items like "Infectious skin of the bunny" and dang near any slapstick title you can come up with yourself. This game was made for people who are sick of little children with foul mouths who only want to come in and ruin online games. Basically we found a game that people like you (kid with a big mouth that only bull**** comes out of) and the Turks can't hack, cheat, or bot in. This is one game the adults love because 1. You can't kill steal 2. You can't steal people's loot 3. You can't lure mobs away from people trying to level 4. You can go to town without having to fight through hundreds of afk personal shops 5. Abusive players are stopped and banned faster than most other games 6. The Devs AND Gms all jump into the game and play or chat with us 7. You can't gank players, pk slaughter players, or abuse any other pvp aspects within the game 8. You can reset your stats at any time you feel like, you're never stuck with the build you first created 9. There is never ending content that is always having new ideas implemented into the game so you never know what to expect 10. The game is more stable than KOL, Khan, Silkroads, Rappelz, Flyff, and many others. When they give ETA on downtime...they are very accurate You didn't even play beta axyrn. Do you even realize WHEN beta phase was for this game? It's limited release, by invite only, and if that means we can keep jerks like you out of the game or make you not enjoy the game, then so be it. The game is better without you around anyways. All you did was whine and b**ch in chat from the moment you walked into Townston. |

I got a key and went in and i'm enjoying the heck out of it. All you whiners complaining above all made the biggest mistake that gamers can make. You went into this game in a mindset of comparing it to all other mmorpgs you've played in the past. That's the biggest fault most gamers have. I go in to try all these mmorpgs with the concept of, ok this is a new game, lets just play it to see what it's got instead of , ok i hope this is going to be like this other game i like or the style i like. This game was created to be different and not compared to all other games. It's doing limited invitations to keep the little bratty kids out of the game.
The best things I have seen that really make the game enjoyable is: 1. No botting or hacking to make questing/leveling impossible. 2. No chat spamming to piss you off or give you headaches. 3. There is NO ksing anywhere in the game, the dungeon you enter is private to only you or your party. 4. A character can be ANY class when you get the skills you want with their classless system. 5. Regardless of what type of character you want to be, you can use any type of weapons or armor. 6. New content is constantly being added on a regular basis and the Dev's DO come into the game and play, chat, help, and inform all of us regularly. Plus they inform us on their site too. 7. The GM's and Dev's actually do listen to their customers and the community ingame and on the site is quite friendly to everyone. 8. This game has been labeled as a never ending project like so many other games that stop adding new things after a while. The game and content will always be expanding to try to make it enjoyable for all types of players. 9. There is NO pvp abuse. Finally a game where players aren't wasting gametime by getting ganked on and lured onto when all they want to do is level up. 10. Being part of a game that continually asks us players for new weapon ideas, armor ideas, skill ideas, and we are responded to by a real staff member instead of some retarded auto-generated reply, or some stupid verbatim script response like a telemarketer sales pitch. The people who are sitting here and saying how horrible it is, never even stayed in the game long enough to fully understand what is going on behind this game or know it's true concept. They all went into this game with some preset idea of what it SHOULD be like and because it's not like the other games they play, they get all pissy about it. Thats fine with me because then I know it's a game that will keep the hotheaded jerks out so the rest of us can have a blast in our closed community. |
