FYI...moments after completion of ES: Oblivion, Bethesda started working on Fallout 3. Its in the works right now with one of the best game development studios behind the helm. I am positively drooling.

...and trade my mouse and keyboard for 6 to 8 buttons on a controller? No way jose.
I agree with a previous poster about the lack of good RPG, online or not, on consoles these days. Everything is FPS on these next gen consoles. Don't get me wrong, I like a good shooter now and then...cough cough HUXLEY...but RPGs are my bread and butter and when the system has one or two in the library I don't even bother. |

Interestingly enough I thought the OP was asking for a foot race of the fey. Gran Turismo: Tinkerbell. |

I was looking at this game but have avoided it since it looks kind of bland. Is it all randomly generated like D2 was...item drops, dungeon layouts etc? Also is there an online option for play? For some reason I just can't bring myself to play offline games anymore.

I'm completely out of games right now. I've tried rekindling all my old haunts like WoW, EQ2 and even Saga of Ryzom, but once you've given up on a game once its hard to come back to it. There are so many great games in the works right now but it seems like everyone and their brother isn't releasing until the fourth quarter of 06 or later.
October and November are going to be killer months for MMORPG fans, but these last few months have been a dry wasteland of nothing releases. I mean Auto Assault...DDO...give me a break! Is anyone else going nuts right now? |

Yeah there are vehicles. In the E3 gameplay vid it shows a multi turreted troop transport that looks too wicked to believe. Hopefully the game will focus on infantry fights though since vehicles tend to eclipse everything else in battles.
And there are npc's in the game. The are weird scythe-handed quadropeds...can't remember what they are called but they kind of remind me of a Zerg combined with a shaved panther. This game is gonna own. |

Oh hell yes! I'm jazzed about Fallen Earth too. Fallout was just too good of a game and now when any post apocalyptic game comes along I have to at least give it a try. Huxley looks a lot more interesting than tabula rasa but I haven't done much research into it.
One game I absolutely can't wait for is Hellgate: London. Although its not exactly a MMORPG it is an online game and seems kind of like a mix between Diablo and Guild Wars. Can't believe this site doesn't have info on it. |

Looks like a blast...even though the person playing the trailer has no skills.

I doubt that there will be segregation like that. From what I understand of the game there aren't player levels but you gain xp by killing and then can use that for weapon upgrades, armor, property etc. I'm assuming it will be like Battlefield 2, throwing everyone into the same field regardless of skill/experience.
