I dont see how anyone can say this game is boring lol If you cant tell by the hype meter on this game that people who are already playin this game dont quite feel the same way =) of course the people who have said the game is great or at least decent are probably the ones that actually played for more than 15 minutes. seriously... if you only play for a few minutes... dont waste everyones time by throwing your 2 cents in.

personally, I think the game is excelent in so many ways. Im not here to say that its gonna give any other game a run for their money or anything to that nature. thats truelly for the masses to decide and to be honest, most of the masses that are really supporting the top games that are in super high subscription lvls... well those people most likely dont post here lol

it only makes sense to me that this game will be a hit for the fact that their are soooo many tolkein fans who are game fans who will maybe try their first mmo with this one. theres nothing wrong with that. Im sure there are peeps out there who are gonna say "oh great, more newbs in mmo world that have NO idea what mmo's are all about..." to these people I say to thee: welcome the new, respect the old.

both games are great! I dont think there will be any 1 game to rule them all any time soon. there are tons of games out there and TONS of people to play them. theres really no reason for a "a game thats gonna spell the end for WoW" thread! there are going to be people out there who dislike 1 if not both of the games. whoopty-freakin-doo bazzle! no biggie. To each his/her own =)

Im a fan right now of lotro because I just really dig the game. I used to dig WoW too but I havent had time to play in a while. I would be as bold as to say that anyone who likes WoW should try playing both games. not that lotro is ripping them off or anything (i mean seriously all mmo's evolve from previous ones) but they are similar games that share great questing, a very user friendly interface and mechanics. IMO... both are clear winners to me =)

well thats cool. now if i can find a buddy key lol. too bad i dont know anyone whos playing atm who would have one =(

not to say that this game cant hold the attention of hardcore mmo'rs, but for anyone who is looking for a great, casual game to spend a few hours with a night... look no further! very quest drivin and soloable for many many of the quests. the world is very well put together and turbine set this game up to work excelent on pretty much any machine. i get really good fps even on its highest settings and im not runnin a muscle machine. the quests are nice and the machanics of the game allow you to remember whats going on even after you take a good 1 or 2 week break.

PVMP is a great concept for many reasons. the fact that turbine decided to make sure to stick with the lore of LOTR makes me smile =) there is no reason to have a regular pvp in a world where heros fight together for the common good. allowing players to create their own monster to fight other heros is a really nice option that just may sway many pvprs from other games to give it a try.

this mmo is really well put together for a beta. i will most definately be preordering it. for anyone out there who likes to play a game and not feel super overwhelmed, I highly recommend it. of course there are things that some hardcores will flame on about but i generally dont listen to bashing to decide if I should play the game or not. Turbine has put together a nice, even game with a decent lack of bugs. I only expect it will get better as well =)
