I wanted to give this game a shot because I like to play all F2P games at least once. I logged in yesterday and played fine for about an hour.  I tried to log in today and it said my pass or username was wrong.  So I logged into the website, worked fine.  But for some reason now I cant log into the game.  I contacted support... im not holding my breath.

Any suggestions?  Something I could be overlooking?

I dont play anymore, I shook the hook free.  Im not going to bash the game.  I think the game could be alot better then it is.   I did have fun when I played, I do miss the combat system.  I find myself now when playing other MMOS trying to fight like I did in AOC...

hah  I never looked at it in that light before.  I stil like the game.  but ive never hit the keyboard as much as in this game!  haha stupid people reallllllly drive me insane!!!

all through beta and now live ive had no problems at all with this game.  runs smooth, no crashes, no lag.   its suprising for me to read this thread.  i had no ideas anyone had issues. 

my buddy has an old POS machine, and he plays it without any problems.

The game has great potential.  However the player base sucks in skill!  I have played many servers, Order and Destruction, and there is no skill anywhere.  Every Scenario is the same, zerg zerg zerg.   All everyone does is follow each other like mindless zombies.

I love the game!  I just hate how nobody has a clue how to PVP.

But its true.   Now WAR isnt even released yet.  Its got tons of patches and new content ahead.  It could very well blow me away this time next year.  But for now... nope.

No crashes here.  been smooth for me all day.

I am a little let down in this game.  There isnt much that makes me want to go out and order it.  The scenarios are fun, but thats about it.  When starting out i felt like I was playing a FTP game.

Graveyard Shift on Darkspear is actively recruiting all Horde level 70. We will be running raids twice a week, and organized BG/ARENA twice a week as well. So if you are the type of person that likes a good balance of PVP and PVE loot, this is the guild for you.

I had the same t hing happen to me while on mmorpg this morning. Did a scan and found nothing.

im not a wow fan anymore, not cause the game sucks, just cause ive outgrown it.

BTW, i read the patch notes and they seem fine to me.  I dont know what the cryins about.

I love VG.  I wish it would have panned out to be as good as it was originally designed.

If you have a group of friends playing its awesome.  I found it kinda hard to get into as a new player, but if you hook up with some other people its a blast.  Good crafting system, diplomacy is fun and challenging at times.  You just gotta have a really good machine to not get frusterated.

1) Its space, its pretty open and black IRL.  Go play a fantasy game with elves if you want more color.


2) Combat gets way more involving once you get more SP and go deeper into space. But, I agree with you on this point first starting out.

3) Ya this sucks.  Your best bet is to join a large corp in a good alliance and have some people on your back.  its space however, and it is hostile, not a trip to Disney Land.

I see nothing good from SOE.  While I dont hate them, I will try and stay clear of anything they touch.

Seriously tho, I love this idea.  The original Planet of the Apes is an awesome movie.

After playing everything out there, im back to AO again.

I love the graphics of some other games, but they just dont have the gameplay of AO.  I love the skill system over all.  It makes me feel like I can customize my character into exactly what I want.  Sure the graphics are out dated, and the playerbase is a little low, I still have fun!  Which is all that really matters.

WoW = Finally broke the habit, sold all my accnts.  The game really sucks but its like crack, and hard to stop.

LOTRO = Love it, but it has a boring skill system and boring classes

TR = SciFi fan here, but TR doesnt do much for me. I like the feeling of HUGE cities. Not little outposts here and there.

Vanguard = I was a VanBoi for a long time.  The game will never live up to its original expectations.

Eve = I play this off and on still.

Guild Wars = Love the skill system here. Cant wait for GW2!!!

Old AO fan here.  Used to play at Atlantean with the tower twink group "Project F Bomb".  now i hear some gimps have stolen the name and are prancing around with it above their heads.  last I heard we can thank Dreadkeeper for ruining that.

ill be back to AO for sure when the graphics update comes out.  it is still the best game out there. i just needs a face lift in todays times.  I wasnt a big SL fan at all.  I havnt played with Lost Eden yet, but I hear its pretty cool.
