Why do people keep assuming Blizzard used all those years on THIS Diablo 3?

They scrapped several "Diablo 3" games before finally deciding the direction to take the game into.

But whatever, right? Lets abuse that and make the game seem bad.

It's Diablo..............I was expecting it, since Diablo 2 was one of the best selling games in its time.

Well, its almost a clone. problem is they changed it just enought o make it not a complete clone, but unfortunately many of those changes were bad. For starters, limiting customization of builds the way they did, changes to gem types/effects, and changes to sets (so many randomized stats on them instead of specific sets for specific purposes). Then theres the AH.. well its got its good points but it definitely needs some improvements like allowing you to put a range of numbers for a stat not just a minimum number,  and same for buyout prices. They also need to seperate sets & legendary items.

Hm. Im pretty sure that there are more builds viable in D3 Inferno than there were in D2. Forgot the highest difficulty there.....Hell?

The lack of a skilltree just makes you think its limited :).

Yeah brand recognition is the only thing which makes Blizz sell games not that games are actually good. There is only for so long you can ride the waves on power of brand alone, if you make shitty product no one is going to support it no matter how huge the brand.

Hell is not hard at all, it is all about items, and then you get 4 defensive skills on your num slots and it is a cake walk, unless you encounter some ridiculous arcane ench jailer frozen boss, it is easy. Same goes for inferno as well, if you have decent items it is not hard at all, and items i am talking about cost  of 400k total.

If you are dying a lot in hell mode (you shouldnt die at NM and normal), you are doing something wrong with your builf and items.

This is the real difficulty conversion:

Normal : Beginner

Nightmare : Very Easy

Hell : Easy

Inferno : Medium

This is not me bashing anything, i think that way and all of my friends think of it like this..

Also, make sure you switch from IDE to AHCI in the Thinkpad's bios.

Act 2 has an NPC event where you help a Necromancer. He refers to D2's necromancer too. Made me all weak inside :(.

Also if you are a barbarian or monk you can get forget about beating inferno without farming a lot! At the moment only ranged classes have any chance in inferno.

Also just because someone else does, who's probably l33t, doesn't mean I will be able to do it. There was an argument that the game was easy because those guys have beaten the game. It's like complaining that football is easy because Messi scores goals all the time. Does that mean that your average gamer can do it?

Thats because Elites and Champions are the mobs that drop the loot in D3. Theyre considerably harder than the bosses.

Not at all. All I care about is getting there myself and hopefully tackle it eventually.

Do us all a favour. Complete Normal mode and go into Nightmare. Completely different ballgame there.

If hard is what you want, youlle be pleasantly surprised. And if you have any kind of love for this genre, you'lle be begging for more. If not...well......go play something else, sheesh.

As a sidenote; Dissing a Diablo game for being a Diablo game doesnt do anyone any good. Next time, dont buy a Diablo game?

 - You probably spent more time writing this "i quit" post than you did researching what DIABLO is all about.

 

 No this game is clearly not for me....I  just thought it would be a fun game to play with my friends , but since they all played it solo , so did I...

Reseaching ?? What is there to research about Diablo..It's a  hack n slash looter that can be played COOP.

.Nowhere in the game description does it tell you that you have to play this game trough multiple times to enjoy it, unless you read what hardcore fans write, well I saw that...But that is just some odd phrase you and countless others made up in defence for a game that is far to easy., some claim that normal mode is a tutorial , a tutorial for what.? How to click your mouse one million times ? There is NO simpler game concept than this one, I learned how to play this game after 1 minute, and even if i got several new skills over the course the gameplay did NEVER change

just give me these difficulties so I can play the game as I feel , now I had to endure normal mode first, and as I played the monk I was almost invincible. Up to level 25 I had ALL my potions in 3 stacks left, didnt use a single one of them, the butcher died and I didnt even move out of the way one single time.

Every other game let's you play as you choose, but NOT Diablo, sure there is ALOT of games that let's you unlock other modes or difficulties but they still give you some more options straight from the start.

Actually, any kind of research would have unveiled that Diablo is all about getting to the highest difficulty level. By starting at the easiest and going from there. Has been since #1.

So sure, shoot the game down because it is what it is. Sounds to me you just blindly picked it up (Because your friends had  it) and expected something based on thin air.

I love TB's vids. That said, Ille still buy games he criticizes. I know myself better than he does :).
