Well, as far as I've seen, only some of the PQs are populated. By some, I mean most. And my most, I mean most of the beginning ones in each chapter. Obviously, some PQs are harder than others, so players avoid them. In turn, that gives the idea to new-coming players that no one will participate in that MMO, and it gets shunned.
I try to play all PQs at least once, win or lose. Most are pretty fun when you have guildmates to work with or some friends to back you up. People who try to solo PQs are the reason why they get a bad name. Or with some pretty poor backup...
I suggest you continue to play PQs. Influence rewards are pretty sweet if you don't have the rank, or cheese, for renown gear. |

I personally love the game. After coming from AoC, with a half-implimented PvP system, I found the RvR and Scenarios refreshing. I like a good PvP, but a half-assed PvP with no real motivation behind it besides "pwning" the competition.
I'm pretty happy with WAR. You get a good guild, couple mates to play, and you're set for a looooooong time. But be prepared to have at least a little patience, since you might find RvR hard in the beginning of the game. |

Huge Graphics Update in AoC - check it out now!

Sigh. An expression patch for NPCs/PCs...
Why are they doing this? Last time I checked skills are still bugged, classes are still unbalanced, and tehre's still geometry bugs in the maps (falling through ground, etc). Not to mention the memory leak (CPU/RAM requirements raise the longer you play the game).
Unless they already fixed this...which I think they didn't. |

I feel that AoC was a good game...despite the features that weren't included. I mean, the PvP system wasn't implimented when they boasted that AoC was a PvP game...
I'm still wondering if they'll salvage it. If so, I'm going to return, hopefully. If I can stand the community and the odd gimp/buff/gimp/buff pattern that the devs do when people complain about classes.
Hmm... |

Wow, didn't know I'd get attacked for posting my opinion. Well, I still have AoC on my computer (just for review sakes) and I log on from time to time to see what changes have been made. So far, I'm not impressed at all. For the time being, I'll be staying with WAR...well, for the foreseeable future.
Let the flames begin! *ducks for cover* |

Well, being a former AoC player (Guardian, lvl 6x) I was disgusted with how AoC was being handled. So disgusted I ditched my 6 month subscription 2 months into it and went to TR. Too bad I couldn't afford TR...such a good game.
And now I'm in WAR. But I'm hoping Funcom will salvage AoC. It had so much potential, excluding the features left out (DX10, PvP system implimentation). Hopefully, since I left in August, Funcom fixed some of the moe major class bugs...or finished the PvP system...
Or something... |

Can some one explain /aid and /assist?
General Discussion « WAR (Warhammer Online) 9/29/08 9:06:41 AM
You will auto support (heal) your defensive target when you have him targeted. If you have an ability that deals damage to a target and heals your defensive target, you target both the attack target and your defensive target (you can target 1 of each) and use the skill. Quite simple actually. But to answer your questions... 1. It's similar I believe, for each. Assist is for attacking your defensive targets target, aid is just targeting the defensive target...(I think). And...I don't know for the other numbers. |
