I have to agree with the others.
There are many players and corporations ready to help a new player.I,myself ,learned about the game while being in Eve Uni. As far as PVP,it is part of the game. Even Eve Uni(which is officially a neutral corp) gets into wars. If you don't like PVP,either remain in NPC corps,either remain docked during wars. But also,keep in mind that by not doing PVP,at least once,you miss on one important part of the game. Either way,if you ever come back to Eve Online,join Eve Uni.They will teach you every aspect of Eve,including PVP |

I understand your frustration Morgan.I myself have tried Dofus twice before and now giving my 3rd try.
My first 2 tries were bad because I was getting ignored by other players everytime I tried to make a conversation,guilds were tough to get in and also because quests were tough to understand. I just began my 3rd and last try of Dofus and I paid 3 month subscription.So far,I do like what they did.The new tutorial is much clearer and I have already established somewhat of a contact with some players. My only problem as of now is that the newbie channel is getting spammed with sell pitch. As far as other games,you should try Eve Online.Also check out 2Moons and Insurgency(Half Life 2 mod) |

You should join Eve University to learn about the game,do missions in peace and also experience PVP.That is when the Privateers war dec Eve Uni,like this whole past week. And if you can't attend training sessions,Eve Uni faculty has posted audio of the training . That is what I used to learn about overview and such.
In addition,I do also think that although skill points are important,what is even more important is the pilot experience. |

my Americas Army gaming community=Americas Army clan/unit. We are named United Sim Army Teams and are a multiple units(75thRangers,10th Mountain and such) playing under the overall name/flag of USAT,sharing the game servers and TS
I just posted on our forums to see what type of interest would there be in USAT. However to be honest,even if my AA unit is against an expansion on Eve Online,there is a good chance I will actually open one anyway. As far as what type of corporation, the plan as of now is to begin by missions/mining/trading so that the corp can gain ISK,members,military strength in peace. As of now there are no plans for the corp to join any alliance.Too early for that. |

I agree that Eve is very good game. I played Eve for 1-2 month this past summer,but I didn't have the time to commit to learn and participate with my corporation.So i canceled the subscription.However,now i have more time to be active and contribute,so I restarted my subscription this past month I think the main problem Eve faces is the high learning curve |
