It was born up in northern England ,hense Pauls description of the races.Its high fantasy with real life places bought into the lore.

Europe had more CEs than NA had? Over half the beta apps for war are from europe with the us and the other parts of the world making up the rest.War has its biggest following in europe just like DAOC had.

Warhammer comes from the UK and has been massive in Europe for the last 25 years. WHA is made up of more Europeans than Americans as well.

A lot of people in the us especially younger people had never even heard of  Warhammer until mythic stated that they intend to make a mmorpg based on that title. Ask many  Americans who follow war who games workshop are and they wont be able to tell you? ask the same people who blizzard are and warcraft and they can tell you everything.

If you notice in the game all the voice overs are British speaking meaning UK British. I know where they`re are some CE left in the uk because i went and bought another one last week even though i had mine from the first few day they announced them.

I don`t no? how many people really care about funcom crap game? AOC is a lame horse and within the next 12 weeks it will be just another mmorpg that did`nt live up to the hype. People are not interested in weather it will be DX10 or upgrading they`re pc to play a lifeless game.

AOC had its chance and blew it but only the die hard fanboys don`t see it, many have moved on or are moving on in the next 12 weeks.

Wrong..AOC promoted stuff that was not going to be in the game at release, even until the very last minute they said nothing? WAR has come out with it and said that these things will not be in at release.

You may think WAR is not looking good a the moment but 100s of  1000s think otherwise. To compare WAR with AOC or Mythic with Funcom is a joke.

Mythic are being open about they`re intentions not hiding everything with NDA which are still in place now for the AOC test server. All the idiots who fell for the funcom bullshit are now here in the WAR forums talking more rubbish and trying to tie Mythic with the same brush..it doent wash.

This has been seen by many on these forums but those that have not seen them, here are two vids showing the two cities that will be in at the start.

They are vast and give you some idea of the scaled, don`t forget you have three massive instances in each city and 100s of quests inside the cities as well.

ON WAR-

im not a PvP fan at all. but, i like what i see with WAR. i just have a feeling its going to blow us all away. i think everyone that reads about WAR becomes frightened. it seems like theres something to scare everyone off but i just think its because it has some gnarly ideas that WILL work. it covers many areas. and as far as the recent announcement to cut some content out i was really bummed at first and i climbed the fence and sat fora bit. but once i read the mark's reply it totally comforted me like a tasty breats in the mouth of a crying babe... makes sense. now sure its a bummer people who wanted to play a dark elf wont be able to have a tank but if you really think about it theres 20 classes and from what i see so far, they will have a lil more style than conan's super lame classes that share half of the same abilities and skills that just have different icons and names and they all do the same thing.

and WAR is super badass stylized. when i saw the video of the orc going about splitting the shit out of poor peons blood i was diggin that footage. it looks fun. i like that the game seems focused, only 40 levels makes sense to me. i really liked LotROs setup too with a focused 50 levels. i think it will feel really focused too. i think by the end of the year i will be playing LotRO: MoM and WAR!!!

 

EDIT- sorry didnt do all my homework. the only decision i CANNOT AGREE WITH AT ALL is the decision to NOT finish the knights of the blazing sun??? how can you have "ORDER" without a knight class and for the humans no less? it just dont get that. you would think that they could force a decent turd of a class out just so that theres some kind of facade balance there. i mean the humans have a priest, a wizard and a scout type class??? thats it. the humans, which are the keystone of the order have three meatbags with no armor and leadership skills???????????????????????? now i understand that some of you have had designs leading up to the launch on a pre set type of character, like maybe the dark elf blackgaurd which you wont agree with me because of that. BUT, truly look at the balance of the humans classes and tell me it just doesnt feel right?

Who cares ? they are out and that`s the end of it. We don`t want to hear about AOC because you have finally realised its not all that.

Here's to hoping that WAR carries the day and sinks Funcom with their empty promises, lack of customer service, and most of all, their game that looks and plays like it was developed over a long weekend.

Oh well, another x AOC fanboy comes here to tell us WAR fans how WAR`S gonna rock? lol we already know.

People in the AOC beta told you about AOC but you did`nt listen, in fact you called them trolls and idiots but here you are in the WAR forums telling us something we already know.

yeah they are different, but i can still talk to british folk in my MMORPGs just fine. the only main differences is, are the slang words used. Like how british people call the bathroom the loof(i think, or something close to that).

Using slang is not the same as your English. The fact remains that the true british language is spoken in Britain not the US. The US is just one of many countries which has adoted the British language and makes a mockery of it.

Every country has slang words but when push comes to shove they`re is only one true country that speaks proper English and that is the UK.

For the price you paid for the graphic's in AOC i would expect better. Ive yet to see one screen of AOC that has that wow awesome factor there all pretty mundane if you ask me
Plus for me anyway pretty hard to look at a mountain range and go wow awesome graphics when there nothing but a wall, Games over hyped on all fronts even the graphics

In VG their is soloing and their is SOLOING,the monk fits into the soloing category.

Back when I played the best Soloers were in this order:

1) Druids

2) Necro's

3) Shammies

4) Rangers

 

 

You must of played at release and have not probably played for a year.

Solo list in order is...

Necro/Disciple= They share the top spot because of the necro`s need to kite. In closed spaces the necro has a problem.

Shammy= especially bear are next in line.

Cleric= Yeah he can solo big dots but be prepared to fall asleep doing it.

Druid/Dread Knight= Ok soloist but pale in comparison to the above.

Rangers/Bards are ok but nothing like the Disciple or Necro or Shammy.

I have a level 50 bard+ level 50 Disciple+ Level 50 Bear=Tuurgin Shammy.

The Disciple wins.
