dont worry.. no offence taken.. something is indeed rotten here (in denmark that is).. :p

since the browser dont say it couldnt find the server, it says connection timeout (and did the same yesterday), i believe its the same..

and since its possible to get on the forum for some minutes once in a while im guessing server overload..

at least it acts just like any other servor overload..

i think what they need is money.. they dont have the capacity to handle the hype..

as long as the game isnt released, the community cant bring in any.. investors can.. but if they go out and tell the community the game is far from complete after claiming it was complete, how many investors do you think they can get..

its obvious they got far more hype than they can handle.. i think they planned to just have one server and a small community.. and if it was a success and they only used word of mouth it would only expand gradually, so they could expand with it..

but now they have potential customers for 5 servers and no money to support it..

so they buy a bit of time.. either, with luck they get a new investor.. or the community gets pissed and leaves, so they can go back to plan A (build up from one server)..

i know the second option sounds totally retarded.. but if 90% of the community left they would have no problem handling it.. and we all know that no matter how much you hate em right now and how shure u are you would never give tasos a dime, we would all be back in no time if the game was alive and kicking

or C: everything is going fine, they just think the average interweb kidz are spoiled brats who should go to their rooms and shut up till dinner is served

NDA is a contract you have to sign right?? so everyone wont be trying  to get in 5 mins later anyway..

plus they said they would use torrent.. so why not test that too and let as many as possible try to download it? even if it made their system crash then who cares?? their system is allready prooven crap.. :)

people get so clouded when they focus on one thing too much.. people talk so much about this title that has to come and save the once great mmo genre? once great? many games had great aspects, but no mmo has ever been truly great..

just imagine scenario #2 from the other side.. you spend way too long in lfg.. finally get to the dungeon.. then you see enemy grp leaving.. then you just kill them and go home with the loot.. i would be laughing for days.. :)

cmon its a full PvP game! dont complain about it, play something else if you dont like it :p

plus RL battlefields has scavengers.. i dont see why a game like this shouldnt..

a little scenario:

Guild A likes alignment exploiting and making own faction go gray so they can kill people for free.. they do this to members of guild B, C, D, E and F.. so B, C D, E and F declares war on A and go gank em nonstop with no penalty.. guild A gets bored and quits game..

or same scenario, just one person going on killing spree.. But Guild B, C, D, E and F are heavily into the real pvp.. so allmost everyone is at +100 alignment score.. a -8 for killing person A makes no difference so they kill him on sight.. person A gets bored and quits game..

i could even imagine no-lifers getting a second account so they can make an enemy faction player just to go gank the offenders..

ofc some people will find this funny no matter what, but im shure the problems involved wont make it worth it for most people

and what is the problem with gold sellers anyway?? i bought the game, i made the char, i farmed the gold.. let me do whatever the hell i want with it.. currently i only play wow and on my server the only "problem" is the trade chat spam.. annoying to look at, but i dont see it ruining the game economy.. and if blizz really wanted to handle the "problem" why not just ban all the farming/selling accounts? having to buy new accounts all the time would shurely put em out of bizz in the end.. same thing with BG leechers.. have a gm monitor the BG's just one hour a day and ban the leechers from BG's for a week.. within a month there would be allmost none left im shure.. tbh i dont think blizz care, they just make semi-regulations on theese issues to silence the whiners..

but actually, if i bought 5000g i might be able to buy your world drop epic you couldnt sell before.. and then u can buy something from someone else and so on.. in the end it will make anyone buying/selling stuff richer...

yeah gold farmers are paid crap.. compared to our western standards.. a lot of em make a decent living that way.. it enables em to save up a couple of years and move on to something theyd rather do.. and a lot of em go to a cafe and play on their own account when they get off from work..

now whats really ruining economy (in wow) is S1 gear for honor.. craftable epics is so much harder to sell now.. gj blizz! but nah, lets blame the gold farmers...

would be nice to know if OP told blizz he knew for 4 days or just told em he got home and found out.. and to me the main weirdness in blizz's behaviour is his account is hacked for 4 days, yet they decide to ban him for cheat 2 hours after he told em he was hacked..

and.. u might be right.. but seems in the last post xplororor's account had been hacked for more than 3 days and he got his stuff back?? anyway.. seems crazy that you cant go on vacation or whatever without checkin your WoW account every 3 days...

finally.. if they sell all your stuff what about all the gold? dont they send it to some other account? (why else hack peoples accounts??) shouldnt that be the account banned for cheating?

sad, but im guessing either theres a keylogger on your pc or a guildie did it.. why else do it right after you announced that you would be away for 4 days..? or someone hacked the entire game? (the servers)

but whatever.. blizz's way of handling this is lousy!

 Edit: just saw the post above me.. if u wanna be uber shure get Hitman pro.. takes some time thou since it scans your pc with all the good spyware/malware detectors..
