I love SOE and can not wait for EQ Next or 3 whatever you want to call it, but he is right on this do not listen to Smedy in all truth Sony should have done something about him years ago. EQ3 will be a sandbox of some sort imo as that is the way they are taking EQ2 which I am sure they are testing things for EQ3 just like they did with EQ for EQ2 if that makes sence lol.

I really only have time for one so I tried both in beta. They are very very close just as far as polish, fun, graphics, ect. They where so close that at the end of the day I decided using a factor I never use cost with GW2 being free after you buy it thats the one I am going to buy. Honestly I am kinda looking more foward to Neverwinter which is totaly free to  download and play. Once EQ2 went ftp while I was already playing it that kinda sold me that some ftp can really compete with the big boys because eq2 is still the best mmo on the market since swg shut down.

Totaly disagree. I played in both GW2 and TSW beta tbh I think they are pretty close as far as fun and polish. I think TSW has much better story though.  GW2 has super good controls. Bottom line I found them both to be pretty good considering they where still in beta. PS: GW2 is not real ftp, 1. it cost $10.00 dollars more then TSW for the box, 2. There are tons of vanity items like eq2 that are going to be for sale, so its kinda free to play. I mean eq2 which in the state of all 3 games is far better then the other two has no box price, and free or monthly. A great game I play recently though that is not even really an mmo is Diablo 3 really I think GW2 and TSW will both have trouble beating Diablo 3 fun for your dollar.

Is this game sandbox?

I was not a big fan of swtor, but I do think full voice over is important to mmorpgs. With that said I think voice chat is more important and swtor did not have that.

This is easy most taxing EQ2 STILL lmao. The post asked most taxing that would be it, but by no means still best looking it just has really bad backbone. The game however is still imo one of the best if not the best mmo on the market though. The mass and content of this game is just unreal, and it comes as close as I have seen these days to a hybired sandbox/theampark mix. Anyway I am ranttting sorry. One of the best looking games if your just interested in looks I really like Eve still.

You can bet your ass we will hit the 10k first lol. Someone should start a poll like this for secert world its much closer to release.

I did not like rift just because I need some sandbox elements myself, but as far as thempark Rift is solid I bet lots still play it.

Sounds about right, but lets be honest since the SOB and SOE ended SWG top slots are much easier to get. I mean to me swg has still been the only great sandbox, but it was really great mabey the best mmo ever of any type. Eve for sure deserved to win and I would not dispute mortal getting the 2 slot though.

Probably a good thing really. I think this will be the sleeper this year, and I mean Funcons history is not that bad. Yes they did mess up the launch for AOC, but most ppl I know have found memorys of AO, also do not forget they did make AOC a whole, whole, whole lot better too.

www.salemthegame.com at least until eq next. EQ 2 also has some sandbox features itself. Wurmonline is not bad, and since the shut down of SWG www.EveOnline.com has been considered the best sandbox by most.
