yea its loaded with great moments like that.

renew for me. i'm having fun so far i've only played destruction side so i've yet to even try any order classes/zones.

i agree the class really needs some work. i find every class on destruction side to be tons of fun and also useful in pve/pvp with the exception of the magus. it would be interesting if they changed the pet mechanics to a more traditional pet style...make the pets mobile and of different varities ie tank, dps, etc

i don't know anyone whos thing about re-subscribing....in fact the top guild on my old server decided to final call it quits so i'd say people are still un-subscribing.

8.5 for me.  i don't really have any problems or issues with the game other than the crafting needs some work. they're hotfixing stuff every single day and are adding new features as well so as far as a newly released mmo i'd say its really looking good.

* Some of the monsters and doors in the RvR fortresses were found to have improper behaviors and settings, making them less challenging than originally intended. These issues have been corrected, and RvR fortresses should now provide a more appropriate level of challenge to players.
 

this was in todays hotfix so problem solved.

i'm sure it has increased as there are a ton of "so long" posts.

i'd rate it a 9. im having a blast in both pve & pvp.

Most of his responces seemed fair. But what he was saying...without saying it, is that AoC was released to early. If he wants to gain peoples respect admit to that.

The bit about pvp not being a major aspect of the game is laughable.

The bit about forum moderation is laughable. Anyone saying game is crap has their post removed and their access deleted. It doesnt happen to people saying the game is great? Whats the difference?

"I Quit" posts can quite possibly contain statements that break the ROC on the official boards and therefore will be deleted, simple as that. If you want to go thru the first 3 pages of the general discussion right now you will find several negative posts in 90% of the ones created in there. You will find people who have left who still hang aroung, look at every thread "Protus-War" posts in and every post from people with the "copy the warhammer bunny in your sig" types. Its plainly evident mods are leaving negative threads on the whole but do delete ones that go against the ROC.

PvP to Erling might not be the main interest to him in game. As gamers we should respect his opinion there and draw the line into thinking and wanting him to say something and the context in what it was actually said in. Remember there is a part 2, so look at the bigger picture. Seperate the PR from the guy who like games too part.

So what is wrong with saying the things he said about launch? Right up front said the same things as a lot of people said here, this is a good approach in recognising this communities concerns and relating to them.

There is no need to call people out "MrBloodworth" in the sense that your opinion is no open for discussion and he can't have a say - thats kinda silly and bully-ish. Some people only see desperation in a swing of obvious change in approach. Thats because they are still in the hurting process, first step in this is to know what the issues are and come forward with them, Erling is doing this back to the community in letting us know - "he heard, he is aware and he agrees". We now need to see the proof that is and FC are on the majority of gamers wavelengths.

For me this is a good interview, it expands on previous offering and the fact he is "doing the right thing" by admitting to issues and telling us the things we wanted to hear for a while is a step in the right direction. Rebuffing peoples claims that he is fail don't hold much weight in my opinion in reference to this interview which is 1. Human and 2. meeting the people who call him fail more than halfway.

once the servers are up i imagine it'll work fine.  i had this problem during beta before was always while the servers were down.

most of it was never rebuilt. i live in a nice neighborhood in slidell,la which is north across lake ponchatrain from new orleans and we still have have abandoned houses everywhere. the house next door to us is abandoned as a matter of fact.

most people didnt return to new orleans after katrina but the ones who did figured we had dodged a bullet for so long and we were due. now that we "payed our due" we should be in the clear....wrong. i imagine after this storm comes through the majority of people who came back last time won't come back again. most probably they  cant come back since insurance is so expensive here now that i imagine alot of people won't have insurance to help rebuild.

i doubt we rebuild new orleans. i imagine after more insurance companies go bankrutp again like they did after katrina that they'll stop issuing insurance in flood zones or if they do it'll be so high you can't afford it. i know you can't rebuild new orleans in another location so i guess new orleans will just die out.
