Obviously the level limitations restrict some freedom to do and go where you want. Essentially heart quests are just static dynamic events that are always there and you can only do once. They serve as a sort of guide both on where you can go and where you have already explored. But, yes, you can completely ignore them if you wanted to.

Paradox much? :P 'Static' is the opposite of 'dynamic', and 'event' is the opposite of 'something that's always there'.

He's right, Static, because the heart quest are always at the same place (maybe not for higher lvl) and these said heart quest are dynamic event.

2 disconnects one becuase my internet went down.

You shouldn't get disconnected on a single player game because your internet went down. Do you see the problem?

How can you qualify the cutscene as superb, your freaking toon doesn't even speak!!! He stands there, says nothing, no attitude, one way conversation...that totally break my character immersion right from the start. Atleast in SWTOR, your avatar had a voice and there was a real conversation.

I am not so sure D3 benefits from guilds, you're friends list kind of functions as that.

Now for PvP I think some kind of team name or similar would be good.

Quite contrary

I can see guilds being huge benefit to D3

Let say you want to join online game. But your close friends are not online. You have to join random people game.

And we all know how that can turn out ;)

Now if you would have guild support, you would have option to join Guild game.

And play with like minded players....

Hum ok I see what your saying, but still sounds like a fancy friends list :p maybe if Blizzard added the ability to run several friends list one of which could be your guildmates list?  Cus currently in D3 all you need to do is click on a friend in your list and you join their game.

So why have guilds at all in any games if we have a friendlist?

I never used the term hardcore.

I never even implied I wanted raiding such as it exists today.

Maybe you never did, but those hardcore will ask for more and more, because they will go through them really fast and ask for gear at the end.

if 5million made beta I'd imagine it would push the game even closer to launch since there are more people to give feedback and find bugs, and the the server stress will be tested.

It wouldn't, you need ppl to process all the info and they won't hire more ppl for just a couple of month. It would take even more time to process and less beta test.

I dont know whats worse I want this joke to be seriously implemented

It might be in a couple of years, look at Blizzard and their Pandas!!!

They should have announced the NGE, that would have been a laugh.

That looks more fun than the actual game tbh.

They should have annonced the Pre-Cu, changing the game to sandbox with 32 profs! That would have been funny.

I saw the announcement that pre-orders will be allowed into beta yay...now send me my beta key  :)

1st, you have to pre-purchase and not pre-order.

2nd, Anet already said: We've had a lot of questions about individual retailers beginning pre-purchase now. Our official start date for pre-order and pre-purchase is April 10th. Any transaction before that is strictly between you and the retailer, and is not authorized by NCsoft.

So you will have to wait for atleast the 10th before getting anything.

P2W apply to all games, one is Pay to Win and the other is Play to Win. Like I always said, time is money, some ppl have more time to play and less money, while others have more money and less time to play. So if we both sub for 1 month, but you play 12 hrs/day 7days/week and I play 3 hrs/day 7days/week, you will have a clear advantage on me. Like those ppl hitting lvl 50 in SWTOR before the headstart was even over, they had a clear advantage over me and many other in PvP. It will take a while before I get there.

So yes time=money so P2P=P2W, some sh*t, different view. The difference now, is the hardcore are piss because they can own the casual since they can buy time.

So basically

New = Bad

The same, but improved = Good

Gamers fear change

And yet gamers are tired of all the WoW-clone and want something new. But for D3, it's good to play an improve clone.

is it then okay for the poor to bot while sleeping, so we can keep up with the gamers who have too much money irl?

You see, time is money, so is it ok if I bot while I work to keep up with the jobless hardcore gaming. I won't feel sorry because I make money, I didn't spend all my life playing video game like many others and went to school and got a awsome job after.

Anyway, there is no reel advantage in the CS.

I'd much rather pay a monthly sub than have a company use a cash shop to supplement their income.

Cash shop's are a slipperly slope.  Maybe they don't have a lot of "pay to win" items in it at launch but rest assured, if ArenaNet finds that it's not as profitable as they anticipated they will most certainly add more enticing items down the road.

You prefer the way WoW does it, sub+cash shop, ok, it's mount and fluff, so as GW2, if fluff and no sub. What stop them, nothing, same goes for Blizzard. Look what they did with D3, auction house with real cash. It's the new way to go, accept it or leave it.

Not just that you have to wait, many ppl have a download limit, where I live, every internet provider have a 30g upload/download a month for high speed and 100g upload/download a month for super high speed.

It always amazes me how ppl expect a game to completly change within the 1st  3 months. How long it's been since you last played? 1-2 months, think about it...as the other said, the big patch is due for April, even then, it won't completly change the game but add features. Som if you don't like the game today, you probably won't them!

I honestly don't see this game going anywhere for at least 3 years. My guilds grow from 45, to 125 to 300 plus at this point and still growing. So much so we had to branch into two guilds. If thats not a sign of a healthy game I dont know what is.

Yeah, how many of those are alts of people who have nothing else to do?

What i find hilarious is that people brag that they have 300 people in their guild in a game like TOR. I guess it means your the cool kid for having a guild name or something, because Lord knows there is no need of a guild at all. It's not like those 300 can build a city and have crafters that sell the best stuff in game on a well designed player vendor mall or something. So i guess sitting around running the same raids over and over until everyone of those 300 have the same gear and stats is what's being called fun these days.

Where have you been, it's not these days, it has been like that for the past 7 years.

Why would I be thorn, I never liked Diablo and there is no PvP. Also, they are not the same types of games...Will ppl cancel their WoW account on may 15.

Some will buy a car with promises that some feature will be added in the future...some think that if it does not have that feature when it comes out it is crap.  To each their own.  Put your money where you like.

By your thinking, we should never buy a MMO game since it is never done and features will always be added in the game. You think WoW had 85 lvl at launch? You should say something about bugs, like if you buy a car that doesn't start with promises they will fix it later and compare it with a game that as lots of bugs and is unplayable, I would understand. If you buy a car without air conditioning with a mentaion they will add it later, you can either buy the car right now or wait for when it will have they air conditioner in it, same goes for let say SWTOR and the UI, you can buy the game now or wait for patch 1.2 in april, but still the game is playable, even if those feature should be in at release, they won't charge you for them.

Will we see later on, the team who created the Celestial Steed sue Blizzard for the same thing? I don't think so.

CE ready? Wow. Then maybe we will see the game by June.  I must make an April 10 note to purchase.

And SWTOR CE was available for pre order in july and the game launch 5 months later on december 20th. I doubt we will see a release by june.
