Originally posted by NikepwnsIts not on the casing itself. It is inside a pamphlet that also features a buddy key. It says Product Key and on the backside of the paper it has a picture of orc and then says Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar in the corner. Thats where it should be....at least the US version. |

I guess I am one of the few, I play a Burglar and love every minute of playtime. Like every MMO I have played its been my character; the roguish, scrapper archetype. I understand the game defines the burglar as a debuffer class but we can DPS too. We can help swing the tide of a battle...at least in the realm of elites. Other classes can as well but burgs have that greater chance. |

You know I have been looking for a cheery tune to sing in the mornin when I wake up. Looks like I can go to the bank and cash that dream. What other wonderous song could peep me up and start my day off right., no other I say. |

Started to think I would need to tear my computer to pieces to find the problem. I will try again this evening and hopefully get into a game. Thanks for quick response Vortal. Look forward to playing some matches tonite. |

As soon as I saw this post, I went over the site...signed up and downloaded. Tutorial was quick and easy, everything was pretty simple to follow. Decided to jump into a game...not many going on, 5 from what I remember this morning. I entered one and I could barely move, my ping rate for the game was over 200. I have a pretty decent computer. Run many MMO's without a bit of lag or anything; yet on this game...which has very low graphic qualities I was lagging all over. |

Originally posted by Zeroxin Ok, I do know you have to be in the non-peace stance. I keep wanting to say is Anger Stance but thats probably not right. Are you getting a graphic word display of "Miss" or "Hit" when you attack the animals? Also when you attack something you dont have to repeatedly click unless you have an attack you want to select. Basically just click and let it go until target is defeated. Hopefully I answered the questions or maybe you can reply back with response to this with more info of whats happening. |

I wish I had read this post while my gaming was downloading. Thank you for bringing it here for others. I wandered around the game for a good 30 minutes trying to figure things out but after while I started to get the hang. It is a shame you cant keymap in movement. In not quite used to the click and move concept; I like to dual hand as it may be. |

I tried for DnL beta but never got in (probably a good thing), never heard of Mourning but of all the games I have tried I would say AO. That game was on my computer for a total of 20 minutes. 18 download/setup and then 2 minutes of what in the world. |

Yeah thats great and all, I understand that they arent passing out any more Trials at this moment. But some players may still have those keys (unused) and I was asking anyone this MXO community if they still had one. Even still, some MMOs randomly pass out free trials to their player base without advertising to the non-players allowing them to give to whomeve/wheneverr; I know CoH has done it and I believe WoW in addition. I wasnt asking if the trial was still occuring I was asking if anyone had a leftover, unused key. |

I have been long interested in trying out MXO but was too busy playing WoW and CoH, thus missing the trials in May. But I it may be possible that some people still have buddy codes. Does anyone still have one that they would be willing to to forward to me. I would be much appreciative and if I have any CoH/V codes or get in near future would be willing to return favor back (if you would be interested). |

Ive played both games and each one has its pros and cons. CoH/V is a great game for people that dont care to team. A vast majority of missions from 1 to 45 are easily done by yourself. But after that the AV mission; which become very frequent need teams to complete. If you wish to find a team its very easy also. The one thing that the game really lacks is that end game for your 50s. Once you get there you have very little to do. Sure you can raid the Hamidon and earn the enhancements but that gets really old and tiresome; dealing with alot of people you may be unfamiliar with can get frustrating. Of recent they have given us the ability to do Police Band Mission and Safeguards but after a ny length of time that will begin to grow old. That is truely one of the biggest defects of the game (to me at least). There are alot of other things to do in game, PvP (which is no where near as fun as in WoW), badge collecting, and milling around AP passing out influence. Or you could just sit in your ultra cool base and wait for the SG Trial to go online. As for WoW, its a very fun game. Very immersive and plenty to do. The PvP is a good time (either through battlegrounds or open field). One of my favorite parts of the game is the whole loot concept. I actually miss that now that Im back playing CoH/V. Cant tell you how many times I have defeated and enemy, ran over to the body, nothing...so sad. Teaming can be a bit frustrating in the game, for the whole possibility of loot stealers and such but if you can find a good guild then you can drastically cut down on that chance. The end game in WoW provides alot to do. Seems each update gives a new dungeon, new armors, weapons, and host of other cool items. Earning respect with different factions is whole other aspect as well. Though tedious sometimes your efforts pay great dividends. I love CoH/V just as much as I love WoW but at times you need to take a break from one or the other. I am back to playing CoH/V and its just as great as the 1st time I played the game. I plan to go back to WoW but not sure. I miss some parts of that game. I read somewhere prior you took CoH/V, I hope you are enjoying it. |

Best thing to do with any game is to try it yourself. I started out with CoH and loved it, still love it. I denied playing WoW for so long till someone kept the pressure on me about trying it. I had formulated my ideal that I wouldnt like it from people saying that WoW had numerous issues and wasnt fun. So I expected it. Then I actually tried it on my own and throughly enjoyed WoW, it added in all the things I missed in CoH, fun pvp, different mission aspects, larger world and so much more. But I still play CoH. I look forward to CoV and I am in beta, yes it is basically a mirror of the game but they couldnt do a totally differ game and still have it be able to interact with CoH. That is the reason why its most copy of orginal. My suggestion try to play the game for yourself, ask around once CoV comes out if any friends have it to try out and play for a bit. A couple of hours of play can give you a good idea if you will like it. Everyone can give you every aspect of the game negative and postive but until you try it yourself you will never get the true experience. |

Now now, I have been a site member for for a bit and love coming here but I`never post on the forums. I do haunt them but never post. I went to off topic because the Spam section looked more like a testing area than a posting area (least too me). I may not post on forums but I come here everyday. Im not a stop and drop spammer, cant stand those guys. I just figure why not let everyone know about this, these forums are the MMO world. Every game faction of players are here to post, its a melding ground of MMO's so why not share this. |

I am an administrator over at the GameAmp Network and I wanted to let everyone know about a new feature that was just added. The Game Handle Database; it allows you to search for any of your old gaming friends you may have lost contact with by searching for their character name for any online game that has ever been released. You can also search by Server, Level, Guild, Race, Class, etc… Of course we need as many gamers as possible to make this system really work and we would really appreciate any support you can provide. Accounts are free of course, and you can check out the new profile system while you are there as well, we've added an unlimited image gallery, blog, friends list, friend comments, tons of new functionality.
