I enjoyed Space Cobwboy but only to play for once and a while. |

The problem is that the today's kids are groing up without any respect for other people especial for adults....u have to change the real world for it...wow is a nice game but because the low entrance u will catch ignorant pubers over and over again... In eve-online the age is a bit higher from 20-60. Give it a try for some months if u like sci-fi mmo's. |

I wont read this topic again because then i would spent to much time to someone who cried for attention.... |

I played a lot of mmo's and several of them for years. With most of these games i had no complains. But with playing Eve for almost 4 years i just can say that 'the compagny' (CCP) is not my cup of tea. Anyway the game is still fun. And btw Batolemaeus kiss ur own *ss because ur so wise in ur own eyes...cant u keep ur mouth shut and make ur own topic instead of spamming other ones... |

Im playing eve-online for about 4 years. CCP removed 1 month time cards because people from the EU where buying them for dollars. Now u can only buy 2 months time cards. Look what's going on now on the Eve-online forum: http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=896003 CCP = Greed and they lie about it |

Come to Voyage Century Online. Its not perfect but free and you can use an Item Mall. Or buy IM stuff from other players with ingame money. I played many mmo's and i can say VCO is a pretty relaxed game. |

A Brand NEW Asheron's Call on the way where Turbine LISTENS to their player base?!??
The Tavern (General) « Asheron's Call 5/29/08 4:38:55 PM
I was playing AC over 3 years between 2000-2003. The graphical update years ago was just cr@p. Also a lot of people where leaving to AC2 and DAoC. Questing in groups was very nice. I never got that same fun again in any other mmo. If i could bring back my character Sandokhan my lvl 146 swordsman on Thistledown and old players where do the same it would be fun...'if we got a new graphic engine' I dont mind the 3th party progs. Dont feel like making 2000 potions by clicking cliking etc etc. |

Strategic webbrowser game...pvp able; between single players through armies and fleets and with alliances as well. Developing goes through an academy and the level of technology in your city and colonies is depending on it. You can develope in 'seafaring, economy, science and militairy'. Everything is depending on 5 resources; wood, wine, marble, crystal glass en sulphur. You start on an isle where u can cut wood and gather one of the unique resources of that isle (i already listed). So u need trade with other people that are on other isles that have the resources u dont have on ur own isle. I've ur able to build colonies then u can become selfsufficient. If ur city or colony grows u will become more gold. Growt of city/colony is depending on the happyness. U can boost the happyness with building taverns but then u also need wine in stock.
Zzzzzz...google for the rest...its a pretty funny game for a webbrowser one...better then tribalwars. I hope the game becomes a less more German and switch to English. The game itself is almost 100% in English but the forum is most German. Hf

Browser game, graphics look like 'settlers', gameplay a bit like the boardgame 'siedlers von katan'. The game looks good but after playing 2 days i have no idea if it will be fun at long terms. Any commends about this game plz? |

If u think graphics make the game then stay away but if u think the gameplay has ur priority then give it a try. This will keep especial spoiled teenagers away and saves room for adults and a descent society ... |

This topic is not a comparison between vco and bbo. I only wanted to list up nice things about the game and enthousiastic comments from other vco-players. Vco is free...and even if u don't use the Item Mall u can buy IM stuff from other players with ingame money that is silver. |

Game is very pretty both for male as female players.
You can have fun playing it solo, with friends and in a guild. Create several accounts and make your own team playing for you. Some jobs can be done even semi-afk.
It's very satisfactory to create your own stuff like clothes, weapons, shipequipment, medicines etc.
It's very easy to make money. Everyone is spending a lot. You can set a booth during the night and finding a good filled wallet the next morning. If you are a thrillseeker then become a pirate or play pvp. Or if u want to start more quieter just enter npc ships.
Create your own guild and conquer cities and make war with your enemies on water and land.
I've seen people from many countries and different ages. There are several guilds especial for 1 language but in the most you can talk english. I can list so many more things...but i would say give it a try...its free as well...have fun

Im playing for about 5 months, didn't spent a single coin in the Item Mall. If u don't want to spent money and still need high lvl stuff then u buy it from other players...it's not that hard to make money in the game. Just create more then 1 account and let them work for u. And yes...i think the support is at a very low lvl but almost didn't need them. Btw, people that buying a lot of stuff in the Item Mall are not realy hardcore...bit cheap imo. Game is still fun

Jumpgate Evolution: Developer Journal - AI
News Discussion « General Discussion 11/20/07 5:01:14 AM
When you play a new game you always compare it with similar games. In my case it was 'mankind' (arround 2000) and 'eve-online'. But honestly the only feeling i got with the old Jumpgate was 'this looks like space invaders'... So i hope that they are able now to create a better feeling. The graphics are exellent...if they're not artistic images only... |

HOW CAN WE FORCE JOYMAX TO USE A FAIR POLICY???
General Discussion « Silkroad Online 10/11/07 7:30:58 AM
Years ago I played Asheron's Call over 3 years and everybody was allowed to use 'el tank' (botprogram). The only thing what wasnt allowed was botting afk. If u where approached by a GM and didnt reply u got a boot for about 3 days. If that happend a 2nd time u got a perm ban. It was a nice game. It didnt suffer from using el tank imo. The difference was we all payed $12,95 subscription. But the free games i listed don't much suffer from lag or u won't get booted because people with a premium account want to get in. In those listed games u always able to log in. SRO is appealing me to much, so im not about to leave. Sending the compagny a letter and complain about their policy will help if they got thousands of letters and when people leave the game. But that will never happend. They earn to much from people who buy silk or a premium accounts of $20. The only thing i can do is sending an ingame message to the bot hoping the host will read it. Like 'don't let ur bot run arround in the town the whole time and nothing else while other players can't log in because the server is overcrowded. But i think a lot of bot users are selfish people who don't care for others (i hope their houses will burn down Levelling ur chars by ur own hand will give a certain satisfaction u never will get when ur botting.

Silkroad Europe... Single Player (am I doomed?)
General Discussion « Silkroad Online 10/11/07 7:04:54 AM
I have a lvl 18 full Strength warrior with heavy armor and 1h sword + shield. Mastery is at lvl 13 and i have 3 skills trained. I'm doing fine...i had lvl 17 bard as well but because slower potionhealing it died faster with a certain gap in mastery. So i prefer full Strength Euro Char with a nice gap for the sp. |

HOW CAN WE FORCE JOYMAX TO USE A FAIR POLICY???
General Discussion « Silkroad Online 10/05/07 8:03:10 AM
Its so frustrating if u play silkroadonline; the game is nice but Joymax lie about their policy....it's so crystal clear that they don't do anything with the BOTPROBLEM. Check out this link: http://www.silkroadonline.net/sro_board/bhboard/bh_postview.asp?ForumID=2&TopicID=51435 its shows the frustation of all the legit players. Has anyone an suggestion except stop playing this game, how to force Joymax using a fair policy? I played many mmo's but this...this fake policy is unbelievable unfair. ..

remove this spamming moron from mmorpg.com.....Silkroad is already spammed by bots and probably by this TTK662 moron as well.... Block his ip for now because he will spam at another account as well and with an ipblock he will come back probably again with another ipaddress. These people are a waste. |
