Absolutely awesome game.

MMO-Champion jizzed their pants yesterday and stated that Worgen and Goblins would be in the Emerald Dream x-pac.

Now that would definitely bring me back to WoW.

Hell, I'd spend countless hours getting the perfect look for the character I'd be playing. So it wouldn't change much for me.

My first MMO was Eve Online, about 5 years ago. Not my favorite, but not bad either.

I spent most of the last 4 years playing WoW, but that's not my fav either. Don't think I have a fav MMO, I usually like the one I'm playing at that moment and then I find something better/more fun.

Have you watched the other .hack series?  First one released was .Hack//Sign, which I find to be the best one by far.

And I'll definately check Mabinogi as well, see if it's any fun.

Icelandic base, it is a supervillain group.

fixed

Muahahahahahahahahaha... haha...haaaaa.

We plan on ruling the world one day, fyi. (Yeah, I'm Icelandic)

WoW's graphics are horribly outdated, but it's oen of the most polished MMO's out there.

GW looks good but is heavily instanced, but good story-lines through most of it.

Seeing as how those are the only 2 fantasy games I play.. I'd have to recommend them.  No other games can give me what I want, it seems.

isnt 2012 the end of the world?

No, 2008 is the end of the world.  Or haven't you been paying attention to the events in Georgia?

I fail to see how Georgia is different from Iraq.

2012 is also said to be the year where our next -big- evolutionary leap comes in regards to computers.  Maybe that has something to do with what the Mayans foretold.

I can't watch ep. IV-VI anymore.. and I grew up on those like so many others.  I am not saying I'm a fan of ep I-III either... but these days, I'd rather spend my time wathcing them.  Luke Skywalker was just as much of a whiner as Anakin.  Like father like son.  Besides, Anakin turns evil, and evil is -always- more fun.

And killing off Darth Maul was the biggest mistake they made in ep I.

Anywho... I've read a few books, and they are so much better than any of the movies.

I will check out Clone Wars when I can though, non-stop action does sound like good fun.

Any chance for me to get one?

W.E. account is: darkerfate

Edit: got into the beta

Ahh.. I so want to come back and give it another try.

I love the diplomacy system, such a good thing to have in the game and I do miss it.  It is only $15.. not even the price of a pizza around this part of the world.

I am so in agreement with you there. :P

If you're tired of the typical .0001% per kill grind in MMORPGs I suggest just moving on to FPS'.  No battle will be the same and there are always new challenges and opponents to test your skill on a even playing field.

Combat Arms is a good F2P one and CoD 4 is another one but B2P.

Or BF2.  Ahh.... the great great battles I had in that game when I used to play it.  CoD 4 is awesome too, just.. no manned vehicles to blow up :P

But, for the MMO F2P stuff... Cabal is by far the best one I've tried.  But I only play P2P games now, gave up on F2P.  Well, sort of ... I am in the Atlantica CB.  I like the gameplay enough, and the turn-based combat system is cool.  But I fear the item mall will be a pretty important part of the game upon release.

Go to your blizz page and account management.  On the EU version at least.. we have download The Burning Crusade near the bottom on that page.  Within that link you can download both WoW and TBC.

You evil evil...... evil person.

Gratz btw.

So far we have beta confirmation of a glyph(Inscriptions profession) that turns bear form into a polar bear, and another that turns cat form into a red lynx.

I'm playing Warhammer until it comes out cause beta is free and I got nout better to do and then I'll be back to waiting for the next new mmorpg that is supposed to innovate this stale genre.

hehe, I take you won't be playing it once it's released?  I know I won't(Beta testing it as well)

I don't exactly post a lot on this forum, but I do read inordinate amounts of forum threads.  And I play far too many games and I watch just about anything that's fun for me.

Now, how do I get time for all that.  I'm far too lazy for my own good.  I've just about destroyed myself in the process and I can't find the power to turn back.  I do have a full-time job, but I have no social life.

Well, I have a online social life, but that doesn't really count.  No human interaction, just words against words.

Too cool, can't wait to see the trailer in HD.

Sweet video.  Damn it all... why can't they just release half of wotlk and patch in the rest after they test it.
