Bring back old SWG!

stop making lame attempts to cover with band aids the giant spike you plowed into the heart of one of the greatest games of all time.

WHY ISN"T STAR WARS GALAXIES ON THERE

I've personally given up any and all hope of SWG ever becoming a good game again. SOE just doesn't listen to what the players want, and because of that they lost a huge amount of players, including me. I have retried SWG several times, and i still do not find it to be anywhere near as good as it was back in the day. I doubt I will play another SOE game again.

Pre-Cu servers would be cool. but i think its a little late, and i don't think SOE would do it.
I heard that they might bring back creature handlers or something like it?

is this true?
I've searched around the web, and this site and have not found anything except the dreams of fans about an Inheritance (books by Christopher Paolini) mmorpg. I think it would be a great idea.
just some ideas, for races you could be, human, dwarf, elf, urgal, etc.
for classes, warrior/soldier, sorcerer, magician, dragon rider, shade, hunter, assasin, mentalist, or others

for factions you could join the varden or fight for the empire, or join some other faction.

these are just some quick ideas, just want to see what other people think, what ideas they have, and if they know if something like this is in progress.

Before CU, SWG was unique and awesome with lots to keep you from getting bored. Now you get bored after about an hour and just end up running around doing the same thing over and over. The combat "upgrade" has made SWG like every other MMORPG. The armor system is good in someways but the fact that you need to "bio link" many armors is like EQ2, and it is very lame. I was on the way to Jedi but now that they've screwed it over im not even going to try anymore (and ive played alot of post CU). I'm cancelling my account.

I havn't started playing yet so this is a question for the pros: Do any of you foresee any major expansions or additions to FFXI that will help it keep up with other games (such as free location choice for where your house is placed or the addition of pvp)?

After you get all the badges you need to become "glowy" you need to do the quest and get a ton of xp to convert to force sensitive xp.

For Combat Prowess and Enhanced Senses a good choice (unless it changed with CU) is to become a Commando (atleast 4-0-0-0). Make sure you have plenty of money because grenades and new sets of armor are expensive. What I did was I went to Dantooine and got Quenker missions. With these you go to the nest and kneel down in the middle of it. You start throwing grenades at the nest which attracts the anger of all the Quenkers. They all circle around you and you just continue throwing grenades (make sure you're buffed or these will hurt alot). For each quenker killed purely by grenades you get around 2500 to 3500 combat xp. This is a good technique since combat xp is hard to get usually and the conversion rate for it to fs xp is 3:1 (For every 3 points of combat xp you get 1 point of fs xp)

Hope this helps and that its still possible to do after CU (I wouldn't know, I respeced to Pistoleer/BH)

I think they need to work out some balancing with the Jedi. My friend on Shadowfire defeated a Jedi Knight in a duel easily, and he's not very strong. It may be a good thing because i have been seeing way too many jedi (especially around Dantooine Mining Outpost). Almost every person there is flashing their fancy light sabers around. I wish I wasn't too lazy to do the village missions :(. lol

I currently have 2 wookies, a human, and a zabrak. (though i mostly just use 1 of the wookies and the human). Apparently ive been hearing that new wookie armor is in the ROTW expansion. So the wookies won't be left out while all the humanoids flaunt their shiny clone armor hehe.
It's pretty good, there are still a few kinks to work out. I'm wondering if Rifleman will still be able to do take cover and sneak.
