Aye, though they may as well have just said "the last class".

Unless I missed a PR (I honestly haven't been following the game as closely as I used to), then they still haven't released the Jedi class, and I think it's pretty much a given that there's going to be one. Especially since they have the sith warrior. Which would mean 1 last class + the jedi class.

Will be interesting to see what they come up w/.

Jedi Knight was already revealed a few weeks ago.  Six classes are revealed with two left.  One for Republic and One for Empire. 

My friend's kids play and his youngest is 8.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting NCsoft Technical Support.

The error you are seeing may be related to some translation files not being downloaded properly.

To resolve this, please browse to your game installation folder (by default: C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Aion) and delete the L10N folder there.

Once deleted please open the NCsoft Launcher, right-click Aion and choose "Repair (Consistency Check)".

The repair and re-download of the files should resolve the issue.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Keep getting this message when opening the launcher.  Anyone else getting this?  I posted on main forums but not getting any responses. 

I have to say LOTRO graphics are by far my favorite in any MMO. 

As soon as word got out that spirits will fly Verteron was flooded with new SMs.  And I'll admit, I'm one of them ;)

Angmar and Misty Mountains.  You'll have to switch back and forth between the two.  Angmar is where you'll get your pages for legendary traits so it's a good place to start. 

So who are all these mystery people still waiting in queues?  I've had one queue and it was only 5 min.  And I play on Nezekan which is a 24/7 packed server because of all the Oceanic players. 

I also have never been disconnected though I did group with one guy who got disconnected about every hour.  He was from Australia so maybe that had something to do with it. 

The gold spammers are very annoying but had the same problem in LOTRO when it first came out.  Now LOTRO doesn't have a spammer to be seen.  Hopefully NC can take care of it. 

This game really  shines in groups IMO.  If you're an avid soloer then it's not for you.

I'm still playing with my lifetime account.  Still one of the most solid PvE games out there IMO.  More than worth the $199 fee I paid. 

You regen by using the rest ability.  It's the " , " key by default. 

Yes, the game is more challenging than the latest MMOs. 

Leveling doesn't seem to be any longer than other MMO to me but I usually take my time.  If you power level you will lose out on a bunch of kinah and not learn your class very well.

Aion won't kill either game.  I see WAR going f2p by next summer, though the rumors circulating today that Microsoft may be looking to acquire EA throws things off a bit.

I'm not sure how a Microsoft buyout would affect the MMO industry but I'm sure it has Sony crapping its pants since EA makes a ton of cross-platform games.

This.  And it doesn't just pertain to video games.  Every topic on the internet is like this.  Just look at all the stupid responses on youtube alone. 

My question to those who thinks it's a grind is:  why are you in such a hurry?  If you're not enjoying getting to the max level then you might want to reevaluate why you are playing the game to begin with.  Just a thought.

Nice im glad people are getting ban'd. Still don't get why people want to get gold, items, and power leveling. Just to get a imaginary item or lvl. Even if you don't have alot of time on your hands, whats the point? I play for fun and i think im good at PvP, just not the best rank or anything, oh well i get there slower and my ranks not high. Still have yet to see how AIONs PvP turns out though since im only lvl 11 atm

Well that's just it.  People get so preoccupied with becoming the best and having the best they forget to actually have fun.  People are always in such a damn hurry to get to max level and get the best items.  And for what?  Its not like there's a time limit.

You realize this is the story just about every MMO on first day? As for what happened to WAR that was because they combated the issue of having a lot of people logging on with opening a ton of new servers which is bad for a game that depends on balancing two sides for PvP/RvR. They instead should have waited it out and increased the caps and released a few new servers as needed instead of a wave of new ones. NcSoft is doing the right thing (at the moment), now if NcSoft changes tactics and starts opening a large number of server then by all means re-post it again as it will have some validity to it.

Too true.  I'm not playing Aion yet but it sounds like NCsoft is making the right decision. 

I'll be trying it simply because I'm bored and want to find a good pvp game.  I'm still going to wait another month or so.  I want the new game excitement to die down a bit and wait a few more patches before I jump in.  I'm just sick of being a guinea pig.
