Originally posted by Teala I tend to agree. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it's an even bigger drop than that. My server already feels dead. At peak hours, fleet shows about 60-90 players. Down from the 200+ I'm used to seeing. Getting groups for FPs is a pain now. If you roll an alt, you can get through the beginning planets now without seeing another soul. Probably why BW is trying this "Guild Summit" PR stunt. It reeks of desperation. Personally, I'm still enjoying the game but I really don't see myself playing it past the end of the year. It's a shame since I consider myself a pretty big fan of BW. The game just feels too incomplete to me and too many missing features that should have been a no-brainer. Maybe they shouldn't have gone so overboard on VOs and focused more on key MMO features and game performance. I don't feel near as "addicted" to the game as I should be for such a new game. |

Leveling speed is the least of SWTOR problems. This is just a typical reminiscing rant seeing things through rose colored glasses. "I had to walk to school in the snow, up hill both ways, barefoot. And we drank turpentine for lunch and we liked it! Oh how great we felt." There's a reason MMOs were niche games back then. |

Why is this game so Expensive?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/12/11 7:54:48 PM
Because they can. If people can't afford it then they don't want your broke-ass anyway. At least, that's how EA views it. And those counting on a drop in price shouldn't count on it until holiday season next year, at the soonest. Most likely price drop will come with first EP. This game will be very popular for at least a year or so. |

So even mesmers get to use guns but rangers don't. |

That's the best they could come up with? And in 360p at that. |

How I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 7/12/10 6:47:16 PM
It's obvious the OP hasn't been following the game or just simply trolling. Refering to TOR as a single-player game is outright false. There's nothing single player about it. |

Interesting. Kind of steampunkish looking. |

Aye, though they may as well have just said "the last class". Unless I missed a PR (I honestly haven't been following the game as closely as I used to), then they still haven't released the Jedi class, and I think it's pretty much a given that there's going to be one. Especially since they have the sith warrior. Which would mean 1 last class + the jedi class. Will be interesting to see what they come up w/.
Jedi Knight was already revealed a few weeks ago. Six classes are revealed with two left. One for Republic and One for Empire. |

Keep getting this message when opening the launcher. Anyone else getting this? I posted on main forums but not getting any responses. |

I have to say LOTRO graphics are by far my favorite in any MMO. |

As soon as word got out that spirits will fly Verteron was flooded with new SMs. And I'll admit, I'm one of them ;) |

Angmar and Misty Mountains. You'll have to switch back and forth between the two. Angmar is where you'll get your pages for legendary traits so it's a good place to start. |

So who are all these mystery people still waiting in queues? I've had one queue and it was only 5 min. And I play on Nezekan which is a 24/7 packed server because of all the Oceanic players. I also have never been disconnected though I did group with one guy who got disconnected about every hour. He was from Australia so maybe that had something to do with it. The gold spammers are very annoying but had the same problem in LOTRO when it first came out. Now LOTRO doesn't have a spammer to be seen. Hopefully NC can take care of it. This game really shines in groups IMO. If you're an avid soloer then it's not for you.

Any life-time membership people still playing?
General Discussion « Lord of the Rings Online 9/28/09 6:15:02 PM
I'm still playing with my lifetime account. Still one of the most solid PvE games out there IMO. More than worth the $199 fee I paid. |

You regen by using the rest ability. It's the " , " key by default. Yes, the game is more challenging than the latest MMOs. Leveling doesn't seem to be any longer than other MMO to me but I usually take my time. If you power level you will lose out on a bunch of kinah and not learn your class very well. |
