Really 100 hours a week is very stressing xD.
But, when Slayer skill was add to Runescape renember of playing around that same time 90-100 hours a week to be one of the first guys to get slayer 85 xD.
It was around a 3 weeks doing it, was jobless :(, and well the unique bad effect that happen to me, aside dreaming with the game all nights, was that I got 4 kg fat in those 3 weeks (only pizza, bread and fast food junk and delivered at my house).
*now a days can only play at max 5-10 hours a week (got married and she gets mad easily about online game), but was a good time for sure xD. |

Did some research about the other game versions (Chinese and Thai) on the last 2 days and read all the forum messages. Looks like an interesting game and by what I learned so far the item shop is fair on the other versions, hope so same happens here. I do use cash, but if the cash system is unfair the ones that don't use will quit and it is bad to people that use, so really pray to gamigo doesn't destroy it. Roy in game xD |

Correct me if I am wrong, but 120 sq km is 1000 Meters X 120 Meters. Isn't it to small? Even the later 1.200 sq km is just 1200 meters x 1000 meters? Or maybe I am wrong, and in game characters have around 12-18 cm? So they are like 10 times small than a real man and so the world perspective is 10 times bigger them I said? Hope so the the second option is right, or the world will be way to small. *Sorry my english, not native. And if anything about it was said before, please tell me and sorry for double post.

By experience (played runescape since the first and was playing the second one till 2 years ago), jagex always upgrade their games to make it good, so we can expect the game to get really good in some time.
I have been playing travian too since the release and nothing really changed, not really important on the mechanics I mean, well, I am a fan of jagex work, so will be sure looking foward to WoL. |

Like travian or envoy, or others, nothing really new. The good points are that the developer is jagex, and they are really good adding content, so we can be sure they will make this game be really good. Jagex always do basic games on start and make it even better, a company we can be sure that will try to make the game better and not abandon it.
The other good points is the in game chat, really good, enjoying it xD. |

why are so many people into "free" MMORPGs?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 12/27/09 8:23:19 AM
The point is, there would not be any f2p if ppl do not pay for it. Some can say they don’t spend real cash in games, but for those ones, there will be another spending 3-4 times more a month than would spend in a p2p. P2p is normally good, because has stability, more content begin developed, etc... The problem with f2p is that the company will have a lot of "promotions" new cash shop items if they are in need of money, which normally destroy in-game economies. The good point of f2p....because it's free of course, and like our friend said, not everyone can pay for their entertainment, so the friends with more cash pay for them xD. But, in my opinion, we will have more f2p than p2p from now on, it will just grow big, since micro-transactions and advertises are on the stage now. |

This game is everything Alganon should have been!

The unique problem in my idea is that is not Gpotato we have to convice, but Astrum Nival since even the russian servers is F2P.
Gpotato is just a publisher, Astrum Nival is the creator and the ones that will be making Allods even better, so the best way is sending that sugestion to them at info@astrumnival.com.
Although convicing Gpotato would be a good idea too, since if they wanna it, their word has more weight in convicing Astrum.

Enjoyed myself playing WoW since 2004, didnt enjoy RoM (sry, really bad), but even when was playing WoW on first phases, didnt get as impressed as get with this game. Don't ask me why, not even when played UO on launch was as impressed.
Maybe the reason is because games betas so far on last years have been really bad, so when one does really well got really pleased, or maybe the game has his unique charm, maybe because liked when played rage of mages (which was around the same time as when UO was launched), and was hopping so on that time, after played the second rom that an online version should be created since just multiplayer on lan was not enough.
Anyway, hope everyone play the game before judge, since the company behind it makes dense games, so you have to experience it to have a good opnion.
And will really hope so that they create servers P2P and F2P, since the game in my opnion will be a big sucess and will have enough subscribers for both modes.
Enjoy games guys, have fun xD |

This game is everything Alganon should have been!
General Discussion « Allods Online 11/14/09 3:47:11 PM
Will say something before check, but think it is f2p because gpotato prefer doing business this way.
I would hope for something different.
On launch a p2p server and a f2p, by what seen so far, the game will be a big sucess.
The only way of it not be a big sucess, is item mall items fuck the game (although by what search so far, all item mall items are tradeable), and didnt like much the idea of selling 10 gold coins for 5 U$$, in my opnion it is even more reason to gold sellers rush.
So p2p and f2p would be nice, since if the game continue doing sucess will have a lot of subscribers, so wil have population for both p2p and f2p server.
P.S: it is quite something to a game make me post here (2 post in 5 years), the game really had a great impact on me. |

How much does the item mall matter in this game?

F2P with item mall are commercial games, just like P2P games. In the case of F2P + Item mall, the game is designed to be played using the item mall stuff. So without it, most players will burn out before max lvl, or before having farmed enough for the top gear. Everything is made slower on purpose, just for the item mall. If you really dont want to purchase from the item mall, you might have more fun with a game that lets you buy the box, but doesnt have a sub. Like Guild Wars or so.
The only way to play without have to expend real money is doing dugeons alone to get a lot of money or have a really active nation and guild that do 3-4 dugeons a day. At least when I was still playing, 2 ppl of good lvl and equips (110+ or 700K + might) could get around 100-200M in one dugeon by selling the boxes rewards and some bosses loots.
Think so everything is so expensive in game because in my opnion it is very easy to make gold (and is really easy to play with 3 characters at the same time if you have some basic licenses and organize yourself well, should have a good computer too).
But my conclusion now of f2p games after playing so many years, is that is better pay for a monthly p2p because you will have more fun for sure (had more fun in all p2p that I played so far).

Not losing a thing. 1 second after CBT begins, hackers already doing whatever they want. Lvl 40-80 ppl with lvl 1 equips. They just kill everything in the map in a glimpse. The most hacked beta I ever played. |
