My download just finished about 15 mins ago and is installing as we speak. Takes absolutely ages to install...

LOL tll me about it.  I picked up mine on Monday the 5th,but didn't start downloading unil yesterday evening, was finished at 4am and I have charter's 10 meg internet service still took forever.  But all done and updated and ready to go.

why not use the dual core arguement?  the minimum specs that state 3.0ghz is for 1 cpu.  have 2 cpus running at 2.4 is well above minimum specs.   forinstance i have 4 cpus running at 2.67ghz and when i run the "can i run it" program on nvidia's site for AOC it states it is above recommended specs not below.

 

 

Having more than one core means quite alot especially if the program is programmed for multithreading which AOC is,  so while he may have a cpu clocked at 2.4 he has two of them so AOC it self will utilize his second core for different threads, effectively you have 2 cpu's daisy chained sharing the load. The same goes for quad cores and yes AOC does take advantage of all 4 cores as they were all used for me during OB.

lowest  RECOMMENDED is intel core 2 due 2.4 MINIMUM IS: intel pentium 4 3ghz or equivalent

I'm back!! damn I hate reformating,  I lost a program and I can't find it the one that mesures your fps ? I finally got my chip set lol the E6600 is the highest my motherboard can go so now my computer passes at recommend specs. yay!!

So guess when the next mmo that I want to play comes out I'm going to need a new one : (

well I just upgraded my pc and reformated to ultimate vista lol geez took me 2 hours trying to figure out how to reset up my email account.  Haven't reformated in over 2 years and all those book marks are gone. Anyway I need a link for the nvidia gts 8800 760 32 bit vista,  when I do the search for the 169.21 driver it pulls it up but no choice on what type of operating system I have.  Don't want to download the wrong one.  So please help.  : (

Aww hell, got in made my toon and guess what game shut down and my pc restarted.

DAMN, oh well I need  to go stock up and to the bank to pay the bills anyway.

Wow, lets see going from xp to ultimate vista for the direct 10 of course.   Ordering new ram heh old ram was only ddr2 4200 going to ddr2 6400 and will be getting a the E6600 chip set with my rebate, figure this will be my last upgrade for awhile will need to get a new motherboard if I want to do more.

Well, all downloaded and installed damn now for the  wait.    Anyone able to patch??
